The Philadelphia City Council voted 14-3 on Thursday to pass a bill allowing the city's Department of Licenses and Inspections to ban shop owners from protecting themselves and their employees with bulletproof plexiglass.
Philadelphia 8th District Councilwoman Cindy Bass, who sponsored the bill, said previously that having to see plexiglass represents an "indignity" to her constituents.

So the black people working and shopping in the stores don’t deserve to be protected?

I would close my store the very day this ban goes into effect, and move out of the city. There are other jobs, other businesses, other places.

I wonder if that is constitutional. The Bulletproof glass is passive protection. It doesn’t hurt anyone. Nobody is offended at the bank drive in window.

The law is not constitutional and can not be enforced because it is racial

Getting shot during a store armed robbery can put a permanent mark on one's dignity. So can getting shot dead.
Lib-nuts in action.

This is like making laws against burglary to include arresting people for locking their front doors.
I hope the courts overturn this.
(And the people who allowed this to be thrown in prison)
