You’d better explain Strzok’s “insurance policy” against Trump
Hotair.com ^ | 12/14/17 | Ed Morrissey

(snip) -- Just what did two FBI agents, both of whom ended up on Robert Mueller’s special counsel probe, mean by having an “insurance policy” against a Donald Trump victory? Mueller later removed Peter Strzok when the text messages emerged from their private communications, and Lisa Page had left the probe earlier on her own, but the claim appears to reference a plan in August 2016 to use the power of the FBI to attack a newly elected president. Politico reports that Senate Judiciary chair Chuck Grassley wants answers from Rod Rosenstein ASAP:

(snip) --Question 5 is the big enchilada. Did the FBI really have reason to buy the dossier from Steele on the basis of legitimate counterespionage? Or did Strzok just decide he wanted an “insurance policy” to get Hillary Clinton elected?

What was “ the insurance policy”?????

________

Hmmmmm?

Whatever they schemed it was going to be the destruction of all the good that could have or will be created by the efforts of all good Trump voters and of the President's efforts.

It is one UGLY text message, and these swamp creatures are putrid stench-ridden examples of human beings.

I’m glad that I am not the only one who thought the term “insurance policy” to be a euphemism which is a bit more disturbing than it apparently is to some Cheap Labor Express Republicans. The McCabes, Strzoks and lesser “cogs” in the machine are capable of anything, and both the Clinton and Obama camps have proven more than willing to help whip them into action. No idle threats there.

Would not yet another she-said/he-said be more of an attempt than an insurance policy? Trump already overcame several accusations, so putting a lot of eggs in that failed basket would be a gamble at best.

An insurance policy, otoh, is definite. There’s nothing dicey about it; the party dies and that’s that.

Who are the three amateur radio operators who signed Nellie Ohr’s test for her radio license KM4UDZ?

Are these three individuals employed by an agency or black-op consulting group. This certification is a public record.

“insurance against President” means TREASON.
It probably means a frame up or MURDER.
And the slimy traitors in the CIA and FBI have already
demonstrated that would not hesitate to frame or
to murder POTUS.

The coverup is TREASON.

Personally, I think Insurance Policy was not referring to an assassination attempt. The simplest answer is that the insurance policy is what is happening now, with the special council. Smearing and an attempt to impeach a sitting president with lies, leaks, and illegal spying. A soft coup d’etat.

The first thing I thought of was a s s a s s i n a t i o n. That’s when the average insurance policy [that involves an individual] kicks in: when the person dies.

I conclude that assassination is a stretch, because as dumb as the clowns have shown themselves to be, they are not so dumb as to plot to kill the president in government office space or put crumbs of the plot in government e-mails. No, it was, as others believe, criminally appropriating the organs of government to conduct a coup against Trump in the remote chance in would be elected President. At the time of the McCabe meeting, they were very much aware of Fusion GPS and the Steele dossier. This would be the starting point. All they had to do was bootstrap and dress up the dossier's dirt to make it sound like believable enforcement intelligence rather than political smear. Then they would fold that ‘intel’ into a FISA affidavit, file it with an application to the FISA court, get the warrant and start recording all foreign official contact with Trump and his campaign officials, which is exactly what happened.

She could just be one of those cantankerous chunky northeastern women who sprout hair everywhere after menopause and don’t do anything about it. Universities are full of them. So are Vermont and southern Maine.

unfortunately thats what I was thinking, and given the general incompetence of the secret service I continue to fear for the President. I believe that the left will use any and all means possible to arrive at their ultimate goal.

I also thought - and still think - your assessment is the right one, but having said that, it wasn't long before I concluded that these sort of remarks are not inconsistent with similar (nominally) innocuous terms from all-powerful party/state apparatchiks.

Anyone willing to initiate a "soft" coup d'etat in the USA is (IMHO) only the right gentle persuasion away from a coup which is not so soft. This is extraordinarily dangerous territory where the possibility of this being something "unthinkable" needs to be acknowledged.

if the average citizen would have used that kind of language against a sitting president we would have the FBI kicking down our doors! This guy is not the average citizen. The FBI should be confiscating all his hard drives by now! Where is sleepy Jeff??
