The first thing I thought of was a s s a s s i n a t i o n. Thats when the average insurance policy [that involves an individual] kicks in: when the person dies.

I conclude that assassination is a stretch, because as dumb as the clowns have shown themselves to be, they are not so dumb as to plot to kill the president in government office space or put crumbs of the plot in government e-mails. No, it was, as others believe, criminally appropriating the organs of government to conduct a coup against Trump in the remote chance in would be elected President. At the time of the McCabe meeting, they were very much aware of Fusion GPS and the Steele dossier. This would be the starting point. All they had to do was bootstrap and dress up the dossier's dirt to make it sound like believable enforcement intelligence rather than political smear. Then they would fold that ‘intel’ into a FISA affidavit, file it with an application to the FISA court, get the warrant and start recording all foreign official contact with Trump and his campaign officials, which is exactly what happened.

You made many excellent points but I’m unconvinced. Strzok (sp?) had no reason to believe a private email to his mistress would become public. If he had, he’d never have discussed the insurance policy in the first place. Plus, as your POV confirms, the language was sufficiently vague that he could always claim it was about something else.

Has the judge who approved the fisa shown up yet?
My sense is political vs actual physical harm.
