People like Roy Moore are not electable in 2017. Most of us were polite enough to keep our opinions to ourselves during the campaign but now that it has finished in a widely-predictable debacle, it's time to say, "no more fringe nutjobs!"
That is what Mitch McConnell and Dick Shelby were all about this state election was about. GOP vs Conservatives. The GOP snuck one overs on us with all this extra shit. I had higher expectations for my fellow Alabamaians on this. I was wrong. It’s a grumpy house here in north Alabama here. I am pondering how to give Dick Shelby a hard time right now.

But he got there because Big Luther went dirty when he should have stayed clean.

Trump should have supported Mo Brooks, if one is speaking with hindsight.
Luther Strange dropped a criminal investigation of a crooked governor and his mistress in exchange for the senate seat.
No one in Alabama was going to elect Strange after that. We had months and months of turmoil over this, including the governor being taped telling his 30-something mistress what he wanted to do to her breasts in his office next time.
They were robbing the state blind and getting away with rubbing their affair in his wife and her husband’s face.
And guess who knew all that and published the tape of the conversation that finally brought this mess to an end?

The problem came out of RINO support for Strange and their rejection of Mo Brooks, the people’s choice, apparently.
Now we learn that Brooks has been diagnosed with cancer. Contrary to the hope of many, including Ann Coulter, Brooks is unlikely to run again in two years.
I could not believe the anti Moore stuff from the Drudge Report. After a dozen years of Drudge as my home page I just deleted it and replaced it with Liberty Daily.
Trump endorsed Strange! Why is this a “wake up call” for Trump?
