Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) did not mince words when asked to comment on Tuesday night's election results in Alabama. When asked what he believed the "message" from last night was, Johnson said that "Alabamians didn't want somebody who dated 14-year-old girls."
He then said that Steve Bannon should learn that the GOP needs better candidates in order to win Senate races before going into an office away from the camera.
NBC News tweeted a video of the exchange.

Well, golly. Tell us how you really feel, Johnson, don't hold back!
Johnson has been critical of Roy Moore after nine women came forward to say he behaved inappropriately towards them. In November, Johnson said the allegations were disqualifying and said that if he were elected, he doubted that the Senate would actually seat him. He also said that if he were in Moore's shoes, he would have resigned as a candidate.
Moore was defeated by Democrat Doug Jones by a slim margin. He has refused to concede the race.
I dont disagree. Brooks was my first choice, but Mitch spent 4 million to take him out.
You are correct that Moore wasnt popular to begin with. There were many other legitimate reasons to be leery of Moore.
I’m sure a lot of the Republicans will feel much more comfortable when they are the minority again. Then they can posture and not actually have to, you know, do something.
Yep, sit around and bitch, and get invited to all the good parties.
Nice work if you can get it.
The GOP is going to get what it deserves in 2018.
The goper’s are D.E.D., dead to me.
The Uniparty protects it's own.
Normally this would be a rallying cry for the GOP get it's act together but it has become as transparent as a window that they want President Trump to fail as much as anyone.
However I know our President is going to make hay out of this though, just watch.
That was like what? 10 years ago man.
Ancient History.
I would like to congratulate the republican party for the victory they worked so hard to accomplish last night. Now they’ll be able to go back to doing the real work of the republican party. Sitting back on their useless fundaments.
Its him or some wacky lib. He at least has run a successful business.
Blame MOORE for this. He is the idiot who couldn’t just answer Sean Vanity’s softball questions, and just dug his hole deeper. He so pathetically refuted these charges that it led us all to have to spend a month defending 31 year olds dating teenagers, instead of denouncing them 100% and explaining the consequences if Jones were to win. He utterly failed. He is the single worst politician I have ever seen.
Apparently they prefer someone known to support the sexual perversion known as homosexuality and grossly immoral partial-birth abortion.
Guess what Johnson might have been saying was that dating 14 year old girls was maybe worse than molesting them?
RINO = Cheap Labor Express Republican, votes for amnesty, tax refunds for illegal aliens (many who paid no taxes), refuses to mandate e-verify, wont fund the wall, wont cut off chain migration and anchor babies, has been supporting a 30 year bipartisan plan to steal the country from the citizens by flooding it with fraudulently documented foreigners, intentionally causing demographic changes that they fight US tooth and nail to preserve while preventing US from doing anything about it.
Yep, you’re right KC_Lion. Here’s something I wrote a few mintues ago on a thread congratulating Jones for his hard work, resulting in his win.
I objected!

then the photo with the interview with 12yr old girl, like who was the campaign genius behind that decision?
When is the next Senate election in Alabama?
Roy Moore was squeaky clean morally and legislatively. It’s very depressing that the establishment created a totally different person and convinced enough people that Roy Moore was a child molester.
“Moore, even in Alabama, wasnt popular at all. It was a total miscalculation for Bannon to get behind him especially when you had Mo Brooks as a potential candidate.”
One of the networks showed that Moore won in a 2011 race 52%-48%, so that, 6 years ago was even very tight.
Especially considering the lack of morality of most Senators and Congress people.
