Moore should of spent more energy on campaigning rather than contesting.
Going out of State for a football game the weekend before the election is terrible optics. Also should of used the accusations as a springboard for campaigning on any talk show that would have him on, not just a small handful who are “friendly”.
Finally never run a Dewey campaign and take the voters for granted. Candidates must always fight tooth and nail thinking they are always behind.

I went to my polling place in Pike Road, Al yesterday at about 4. There were 4 blacks in front of me in line, all holding yellow cards meaning they "Went to the wrong polling place to vote originally" and 3 more sitting at a side table filling out Provisional Ballots.
I would be willing to bet all 7 had already voted in multiple places.
I have been following the Alabama Secretary of State’s unofficial numbers.
I do not see a path to victory for Moore in a recount. The difference is too wide for an automatic recount and spending the money seems like a waste.
Sadly, less than 40% of the voters participated. People are citing the “write in voters” as helping Jones, but I would add that I think many disgusted voters simply did not go to the polls because they disliked both candidates.
Not sure that is that unusual for a special election. More Republican votes were cast in this general Senate election than the Strange / Moore runoff primary (650k vs 480k). You are just not going to get the turnout for a Senate election that you get for a Presidential election.
What is extraordinary is the dem turnout. They smelled blood in the water with Moore and seized the opportunity.

Your previous Post indicated that Moore would somehow reverse the results of the Election. I disagreed and offered up terms for a Wager to benefit Free Republic.

What’s important here is rooting out the corruption. What I’m saying here is democrats are cheating in every election, and not only that but their cheating increases every time.
This is a much bigger problem than the idea of our side running a weak candidate.
