The mistake was Trump backing McConnell’s candidate.
All he had to do is stay out of the race and Brooks would have won—both the primary and the general.

If you do not have ID, you are issued a provisional ballot. Herein may be where fraud was possibly attempted and the reason for him not conceding. Just a thought.

Brooks didn't have a chance; McConnell's PAC saw to that. He would have made a great senator, and I hope he takes it up in a couple of years when we have the opportunity to undo this mistake.
