Alabama votes on Tuesday in a special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, now the attorney general. The last polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern. Strong support for Roy S. Moore, the Republican, is expected in rural, mostly white parts of the state and in its northern half. The Democrat, Doug Jones, aims to create a lead in the urban counties that include Birmingham and Montgomery, and across a band of largely black counties.
One critical battleground is a trio of smaller, whiter cities: Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Mr. Moore won a hard race in 2012 by keeping things close there. Mr. Jones hopes to win the cities by a convincing margin.

This absolutely sucks. I really thought Moore could eke out a win. In Deep Red Alabama! Eff the GOPe and the ‘RATs of course. And I’m not exactly happy with wimpy Jeff Sessions right now either.

There is a saying:
Democrats never lose a close race.
Digging will probably find Calif style vote fraud.
Moore had as opponents the DNC and RNC.
Tough to have enemies stabbing you in the front and “friends” in the back.

I’m amazed that the Lord hasn’t allowed the US to be blown away already. We’re in Sodom and Gomorrah times, and the ratio of decent people to indecent probably isn’t even as good as Sodom and Gomorrah.
I’m praying that the truth outs, so that people have no excuse for believing the lies. I just want the ones who are deceived to have a chance to come to the truth. There are some who are good but they are just deceived.

I agree. Moore's interview with a very sympathetic Sean Hannity was a complete disaster. If you can't play the political game better than that, don't run for office.

Senator Shelby needs to just go ahead and die. I got his robo-call yesterday telling me not to vote for Moore. Anyplace he shows up he needs to be egged and hounded out of town.
