The Fox Poll assumes a Democrat turnout that is unlikely. The problem with races like this one is that there is a dynamic of people who are really voting for Moore who won’t say so just as with Trump. I know its Alabama but this race is unique. I expect Moore will pull it out. The only worry is whether Democrats can turn out far above normal but I doubt it. Right now there is only one poll showing Jones ahead and I believe it is the one last attempt of the GOP-E to try to give Jones a lifeline and send a message to Democrats that they can defeat Moore so to boost turnout among those voters who otherwise would simply stay home. Polls are not just measures they are tools of manipulation. Thankfully Trump was able to build a loyalty that surpassed the ability of polls to suppress the vote.
Nah. Just put on woman named Shawneequa to claim her EBT card stopped working and unless you go to your local polling place on Tuesday they are all going to be cut off. Obamaphones too.

I have Fox News on in the background, thought I heard that too.
That may not be bad news...some Moore voters may stay home if they think he's way ahead.
That news will keep them motivated.

But what’s weird is that the Fox poll shows Jones ahead by something like 10 points. How can there possibly be a 19 point difference between these polls???

The national DNC knows this.
They are spending money to “beat the bushes” to see how many snakes they can get to come out.
This is more of a census of what support they CAN assume to have in a deep red state (they never play of it in presidential years) if they pour cash hard enough. There is no knock to them if they lose sice it is Alabama, but they gain incredible data for future races.
