If you've ever wanted to go to an NFL game and you have five dollars in your pocket, then this is the perfect week to do it.
As of Thursday afternoon, there are actual NFL tickets that are selling on the secondary market for under five dollars. Of course, like all good deals, these tickets do come with a catch: You need to live near Buffalo, have a high tolerance for cold weather and be willing to sit through three hours of a Colts-Bills game.
A beer at the game would literally cost more than twice the price of your ticket.

Sorry ... I was replying, somewhat, to your “Super Bowl viewership down” post and went tangential :-).
I haven’t watched a game since 2011 and only hope for the worst for the NFL.

I know, and I didn’t think anything of it.
It was a good comment. I just didn’t know how to respond other than to say what I did.
Didn’t mean anything by it.
Take care.

The geniuses in Cleveland put the outdoor football stadium on the shore of Lake Erie. Tickets are available for next to nothing. Even if I wanted to attend, I’d have to pay a fortune for parking or use public transportation that’s practically non-existent on a Sunday, have to pay a whole lot of money for any snacks, and endure frigid cold on a cold December afternoon. To watch players who enjoy insulting their fans during opening ceremonies (instead of focusing on game prep) and a coach who enables them. Uhhhh.....no thanks. Maybe if they paid me $100 to attend, I’d consider it.

I may consider going if they paid me $100 and free beer.,
And you get to leave after the first quarter.

Let the hoodrats buy them, that’s the demographic the NFL is trying to appeal to these days, heck invite them into the Luxury Suites.

And instead... he signs a four year deal, gets a raise and the NFL says F U to the fans.
I now watch hockey exclusively and some baseball.
Oh, and midget wrestling as the tickets are 5 bucks here in Tijuana. (hahahahaha)
