If you've ever wanted to go to an NFL game and you have five dollars in your pocket, then this is the perfect week to do it.
As of Thursday afternoon, there are actual NFL tickets that are selling on the secondary market for under five dollars. Of course, like all good deals, these tickets do come with a catch: You need to live near Buffalo, have a high tolerance for cold weather and be willing to sit through three hours of a Colts-Bills game.
A beer at the game would literally cost more than twice the price of your ticket.

Would $.50 work ?
Half the teams will be gone in five years.
LOLOL!
NFL does NOT get a single cent from this household.
I dont care how low they sell their f***ng tickets for, we ain’t patronizing those assturds! GTH NFL!
” used to go to the AFL Bills games when Jack Kemp was the quarterback and Cookie Gilcrist was the fullback. I think the tickets were five dollars then, too.
I think my Uncle was on that Team. I know he played with Kemp, he finished his career in the early/mid 60’s with the Raiders. (Wayne Crow)
Won’t hurt the bottom line one bit. Those seats were sold at full face value. They are being resold in the secondary market for $5 each. That doesn’t affect the team owner.
Team owners will be affected when seat license fees and seat prices drop. May take a while for that to happen.
That’s $4.99 too much.
SO nice to see the BLM/NFL thugs are still rolling down hill.
I may consider going if they paid me $100 and free beer.
What must one pay to NOT go?
And, after this season, might the NFL find itself ..
...in major DEBT?
Coming soon - the NFL paying people to show up...
It's almost worth the 5 bucks to make sure the seats stay empty.
I would head to a WNBA game first or perhaps a muzzie prayer service before an NFL game right now. Commissioner extended for 4 years? Whar?! An NFL game is not even worth the $$ in gas or the calories for a long walk.
Ya beat me to it. Knew someone would.
Well, about all I can say is they sure seam to be reading the tea leaves differently than I am.
I’d have canned the league president.
He should have nipped this in the bud.
You’d have had a few hot heads, and then things would have settled won in a week or two.
If that didn’t work, start replacing starters and see how fast some of them got religion.
It would have been over last year, and attendence and viewers would have been healthy right now.
There’s a real pall hanging over the NFL right now, going into it’s special time of year.
Wouldn’t it be a crack-up if the Super Bowl as 2/3rds empty.
When the new Yankee Stadium opened IIRC the top seats behind home plate were $2500 each.
I saw that viewership for the Steelers game was up 30% over last week’s game. I guess they meant Monday Night Football.
I think the Steelers and Patriots are the only teams not taking hits attendence wise.
I would like to see the Steelers make it to the Super Bowl and lose in a blowout. I wouldn’t watch it, but I’d be cracking up laughing at all of the depressed people in the area ... Depressed over a game that has zero impact on their lives.
I just wish there was a decent alternative league (besides college). I’d rather watch a bunch of scabs than these overpaid, over preachy prima donnas.
“and the beer would freeze”
Perfect response.
I’m the wrong guy to run this by. I don’t watch sports.
When I played, I was interested. Now that I no longer play, it’s just a waste of time to me.
I played organized league softball and baseball for about 20 years as an adult. Loved every minute of it.
