Sen. John McCain's (R-Ariz.) former presidential campaign manager, Steve Schmidt, said early Thursday that President Trump was "clearly slurring his words" during an announcement that the U.S. will recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capital, adding that "the impairment is chilling."

“He slurred one word at the end. It sounded like he had dry mouth or his dentures slipped.”
Why would someone with as much money as Trump need dentures? He could have state of the art implants.
To: leapfrog0202
“Something was wrong.”
My immediate first impression when I saw a brief excerpt from the speech was that he had a cold.

I watched the speech and certainly didnt notice any impairment. Absolutely. I was a preacher for ~30 years and people have no idea how difficult it is to speak publicly. I have spoken in adverse circumstances where my enemies were looking for every single flaw. That is especially unnerving.
I thought the speech was fine.
And, Trump has false teeth? I would have figured he'd have crowns/implants.

DT does not have dentures. Implants perhaps, but not dentures.

Yes that was the clip. He also seemed in a hurry to quit speaking to me. I hope it was just his dentures, if he has them.

Gee, none of this was apparent to me. I've watched it a couple of times now.
Guess I'm impaired too. Don't tell Senator McCain.

LoL==great imagery, thanks for the chuckle I needed that. seriously--Liberalism is a mental disorder--explains it all. We cannot possibly understand the rantings of demented minds nor should we want to.

That’s all it was; his dentures were slipping or falling down. It’s not like he could stop and adjust or re-glue them while speaking to the world.

Yes, it was like his mouth was too dry to talk. It happens to lots of people.

When I think about it, there’s so much irony in someone that worked for McLame pointing the finger at someone else using the word impaired.

It was a long speech, I think towards the end he just needed a drink of water.
The last time he took a drink during a press conference the MEDIA acted like he was drinking the BLOOD of VIRGIN BABIES..

It was pretty clear to me that he had a cough drop in and has a bit of a cold or sniffle going on. Geez, the Never Trump faction is getting rabid!

Thanks. I’ll listen to that video & check it out.
His enunciation through the part I listened to was precise. I listened to the speech live as well. The left has no real dirt so they keep dreaming up these fake news bite.
I appreciate the video link.

You are absolutely right, those last minutes there was a lot of shush going on. Sarah says dry mouth, but POTUS did seem to be trying to settle his teeth into place, or work up some moisture.
Trust the Dems to be there to pounce. Won’t do them much good.
