Rep. Jim Jordan asks FBI director Christopher Wray whether Peter Strzok, the FBI agent who was fired by the Mueller investigation for sending "anti-Trump text messages," was involved with getting a warrant to spy on members of the Trump campaign. Jordan posits that Strzok was the agent who used the Steele dossier to obtain a warrant from a FISA court to spy on members of the Trump campaign --snip-- "And if this happened, if you have the FBI working with the Democrats' campaign, to take opposition research, dress it all up and turning it into an intelligence document to take it to a FISA court so they can spy on another campaign, if that happened, that is as wrong as it gets.."

We have seen so many movies and tv shows about corruption in government. The thought occurred to me that Hollywood and tv elites knew something about real corruption but they did not dare reveal it as fact.

The telling factor was that even Fox News DID NOT include a video clip of Jordan’s questions to Wray. They were spot on and very telling.
Basically the FBI and the DOJ used the false Steele dossier and the FISA court to conduct espionage against President Trump’s campaign and against his transition team.
Mueller himself has signaled his knowledge of such espionage by trying to hide the perpetrators,and is not investigating it as special prosecutor.
I’d say that Mueller is toast....only a matter of time now.If Mueller were at all possessed of any genuine non Saul Alinsky intelligence, he would wind up his Liberal Fascist investigation pronto and end the fiasco.
It is the only way to uncover the depths of this conspiracy and to make sure that NO ONE dares to do anything like this for 50 or 100 years - by executing a bunch of formerly high-ranking people. Not only that, it shows America that Obama has established a liberal fascist gestapo wing at the FBI and DOJ, that commits espionage against our electoral process. In fact THEY were the collusion that almost usurped the Nov. 2016 election.

watch for Trump at his rally tonight to make some provocative statements re: the FBI, similar to how he lit up the NFL weeks ago.
I agree - some think Wray is the wrong guy to grill but it helps him dig into the swamp he inherited....don’t envy him at this point though - if he does right, Trump will bolster him....time will tell.
Adm. Rogers may be the hero that vaporizes the Swamp, the spark.
He provided an answer for each and every question. Some of the questions were knowingly made not expecting an answer.

Excellent post. Not only can individuals have federal charges, but they can be civilly & personally liable for violation of civil rights with damage costs, etc., assessesed by a civil trial.
Yes, did hear the reference to the committee’s oversight there. Wray can’t agree to turn that over without further prompting and behind the scenes negotiation when required.
There was also a reference made to the discussion going into closed session. So everyone knows it’s not going to end that way tomorrow. At the same time, Wray did not argue the point. He’s merely letting it play out. People are misreading that in the context of the hearing yesterday.
The committee chair can make an official request through the channels they are made and everyone knows it’s hitting the fan now.
We have a full fledged political operation undermining a major campaign, a candidate and a duly elected president.
The stakes are not high they are terminally high. Everyone will play out the string as it is a mounting tsunami.
Wow, if the President and the few honorable, honest Dems in Congress play these cards correctly, it gives President Trump the justification to END the witch-hunt and COMPLETELY dismantle and rebuild the FBI!
Maybe President Trump and Sessions are playing chess at a level we don’t yet understand?
