Does the MN governor get to appoint Franken’s replacement? Additionally, will the replacement be there for the duration of Franken’s term, or will there be a special election to elect a replacement? If there is, perhaps a Republican, ideally one friendly towards the President and his agenda, can take this clown’s place.
