Since Coleman “lost” by only a few votes, he should be appointed to the senate until the elections. Coleman turned down a couple of opportunities to run for office again after 2009 and turned them all down. Right now he's living in D.C. and is a lobbyist for Saudi Arabia, so probably not a good choice.
