I seriously question her intellectual competence if she believes any Olympian in history "represented" the president at the time of the competition.
If this is a snowflake problem, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if she followed her warped juvenile decision and stayed home.
Regardless of the outcome, whatever her sport is, the odds are it is not among my priorities to watch, anyway.

I never once thought of athletes competing at the Olympics for whoever was president. I thought it was for the country?
Actually, I can’t remember the last Olympic Games I watched. Caught a little when it was in Greece, didn’t watch Japan, China, UK, Rio. Maybe my last was Atlanta ? Just lost interest after the Cold War. This Vonn comment assures I won’t be watching in ‘18 either. No loss there.
I didn’t know the qualifying for the Olympic teams banned “people of color”.
Might not the U.S. Olympic Committee have something to say about the politicking and trivializing sportsmanship by the American athletes?
