WASHINGTON (AP) — Facing growing demands for him to resign, Minnesota Sen. Al Franken will make an announcement on Thursday.
That's the word from the Democrat's office on Wednesday.
Franken's support among his fellow Democrats is collapsing as a host of female Democratic senators called upon him to quit.
Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., Patty Murray, D-Wash., Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, Kamala Harris, D-Calif., and Maggie Hassan, D-N.H., all called on Franken to step down.

The liberals never believed that this sexual harrassment exposure would take down so many of their in did they?

It’s interesting because the liberals have used sex harrassment as a political tool for so long, and now it’s coming back to haunt them.
All they can do is try to impeach him. I don't think the votes are there.

The liberals finally woke up and realized that as long as liberals are replaced with other liberals, it’s worth it for a few of them to ‘take one for the team.’
He must have pinched Gillibrand. I doubt he would have pinched the others.

Look for Dayton to appoint Ellison.
I don’t want Franken to resign.
I want him to stay as Senator until a republican beats him in the next election.
The democrats have now decided he will be a more of a negative factor than he is worth.
That’s one reason I want him to stay.
I want him flopping around the democrats neck like a dead albatross for the 2018 elections.
Another reason is that if he resigns his replacement will likely be muslim Keith Ellison who will be even worse than Franken.
The only reason the Democrats would call for him to resign is that they know it is a safe Democratic Seat.
The Democrats are like that.
The most important thing is to win elections.

Now the ball will be in the Republcans’ court. And the Rats will be relentless in making sure that any Republicans who resign will be replaced by Rats.
That’s why I’m taking no joy in this.
Since he’s from Minnesota he most likely awakened Mistcalfa, a Nordic golem type entity.
