The holiday season is upon us, and leave it to an Ivy Leaguer to play the role of the proverbial stick in the mud.
Writing in the Yale Daily News, guest columnist Xuan (who uses the pronouns they and them) invokes the United States legacy of colonialism, exploitation, slavery and genocide to argue that Americans personal charity isnt quite enough nor all of morality.
They offer examples of a shady used car salesman and a sketchy entrepreneur who, after screwing over people in the past attempt to make good later in life through charitable giving.
This would be academic if we were nothing like these protagonists individuals who have benefited from either violence, deception or exploitation, Xuan writes. Yet, I [shouldnt that be we if one uses the pronoun they?] think a little bit of reflection suggests that many of our lives are closer to theirs than we might like to think.

When a leftie looks at all of his/her/their friends and acquaintances, he/she/it may find enough charity to buy a cup of coffee for a homeless person. If the government takes enough money from them to buy 100 cups, the government can provide 3 people with coffee - so that’s better.
The leftie projects that lack of charity in their social circle onto the rest of the world. And instead of conservatives providing 50 cups of coffee out of charity, the government can take their money and provide 10 cups.
And the leftie thinks 10 cups is great (though it would have been 50 without government) because their leftie circle is “better” than conservatives, so they can’t imagine that conservatives would have done “better” than the government.
And, if it isn’t currently the government’s job to provide coffee to homeless people, IT SHOULD BE (since that fits my topic for today and I’m thinking like a leftie so I can demand that it is the government’s job for this post, but don’t hold me to it in my next post where I say coffee is bad).
Where I think you’ve got it wrong is this bozo ain’t advocatin’ for pickin’ pockets; he’s agitating for armed robbery of the citizenry by government agents.
Now, he can gibber and make a damned fool of himself all he wants, but the day anybody acts on that gibberish I’m all for ventilating their ass with hot lead.
OK, who are the idiots who pay these Ivy League dweebs so much money? It seems to me you don't have to pay them. Just show them a pay stub that their income was “redistributed” to a little village in Liberia.
The article is at least honest.
At the end of the day that IS what Leftists believe.
Academia has created an army of entitled thieves.
I don’t have any money but people like this is why I’m glad my state allows concealed carry.
The guys who raped and murdered Kelsey Grammar’s sister got 50 cents from their first victim. They then stabbed a 2nd guy to death.
And then they kidnapped her, raped her repeatedly and finally murdered her. They were all participants in the criminal crime spree. So they’re all guilty.

“Do you really want to kill someone just because they are picking your pocket?”
All leftist thought, from the limousine liberalism of Harvey Weinstein to the murderous ideology of Mao, Pol Pot, and Stalin, is of and from Satan.
Xuan’s greatest crime is trying to spread this Satanic ideology, and even to force it on others. It seems to me that he deserves to be killed for that, but God says differently. God says don’t murder people, not “don’t murder people unless they are horrible swine.” Just “don’t.”
Luckily for this POS, the people who understand the gravity of his crimes are not murderers.
As things stand now, these kids will be entering the world of big finance, government in all its forms, and law almost exclusively.
in 25 years, they will be the oligarchs lording over the rest of America.
Compared to the British, if we were imperialists we weren’t very good ones. We don’t have a `commonwealth’ or possessions (except for Canada) and love grows wherever Uncle Sugar goes. A lot of us want to cut Puerto Rico loose and ship most of Hawaii’s Democrats to Samoa.
Taking this commie’s cue though, I have a sueno: I’m not opposed to re-taking Mexico down to Mexico City, along with the Baja peninsula and Cuba. Shoot any cartel members on sight, then bring everyone back and march on Washington DC.
Someone who will just be getting $50, or whatever I have at the time? No.
Someone who has plans of enslaving me, and my children, in perpetuity? Oh, yes.
Absolutely yes. And he wasn’t talking about picking your pocket. He was talking about using force to take your property in reparations for his imagined communist propaganda crimes.
So yes...
Okay-Let’s start with you Xuan.
You are now no longer a Yale student. We have taken your slot and given it to a Son of a Somalian War Lord. You are to hand over the keys to the BMW and your books at the reception desk on your way off campus. Please surrender your student ID at the exit gate.
We have scheduled an appointment with the Admissions office to continue your Higher Education at Podunk Community College.
Good Luck Snowflake!
And these are supposed to be the brightest and most highly educated young people we have? They are blithering, drooling imbeciles. The great old word retards is, frankly, far too mild for the intellectual garbage that comes from our institutions of higher education.
I’m going to write the most insane article ever written - something that suggests children are taken from parents and raised by lowland gorillas, that people are all tagged by the ear to make them easily controlled and we all get locked in a cage for 12 hours every 4 hours.
I bet it will get published and fully supported by liberals.
Taking the fruit of someone else’s labor by force is nothing more or less than stealing.
That’s what the Goddamned Communists did to my great grandfather in Russia in the 1920s - they took his water delivery business (many horses and carts, roughly equivalent to trucks now), plus 14 houses that he had built for renters, plus 3/4 of his OWN house (by forcing my great grandparents to house 3 other families). But that wasn’t enough...the F*CKERS then beat him to death in 1937, because a broke and broken 74-year-old man was such an obvious threat to Josef Stalin’s rule.
Some Communist asswipe tries this with me, and they’ll get some of my property, alright: copper-jacketed lead, delivered via airmail. Next time ain’t gonna be free, Communist sons-of-bitches!

The government already does this. Big time.

Judging people by the Sins of their ancestors there eh????
Well holy shit, I guess we better not Judge all those Muslim Migrants by the sins of THEIR ancestors either, crimes that make the crimes they accuse our ancestors by look like a parking ticket!
Let’s see they castrated their black slaves, a lot of them died they spread their religion by the sword killing HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS over the the last 1,300 years, they nearly genocidally eliminated several middle east cultures, Zoroastrians, Arab Pagans, Hindus ( TEN IF NOT HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF HINDUS ), Bhuddists, Animists in Africa, Tribes in Africa and Asia, etc etc....
And colonialism..... Don’t get me started, there are 57 Muslim countries where people are still oppressed to this very day! And the Muslim colonialism never ends, where as many former European colonies are now autonomous and liberated, the Muslim colonies are still under the yoke of Sharia oppression.
The United States did some wrongs, but not as many as the “Great Jihad” of kiddie fiddler Mo-HAM-ed piss be upon him.
