Because finally, finally this country has elected someone not of, by, and for the swamp, someone who owes them nothing and does not fear them: Donald J. Trump. I freaking love Donald Trump. The reason the swamp hates him, of course, is manifold. He is proven to be a potent crusher of political correctness and polite society, the way things are supposed to be said, i.e. not on Twitter, and a crusher of that elite vanguard also known as the swamp. He came in and he promised to smash their corrupt existing order, to overturn the money changers' tables. Right? To make representative government representative again and to make to have them earn the consent of the governed, which is what the Founders had in mind when they created this exceptional nation, and in so doing, he promised to restore respect for the Constitution, to restore government back to its proper place, and to restore mighty American economic growth, to, yeah, make America great again. A simple concept, how refreshing after years of being dominated and ruled by the swamp.

I, too, am a big fan of hers. I’ve mentioned her here on FR in a positive way in the past and was pig-piled on because she’s a lesbian. How DARE I think a lesbian has a brain — those were the responses I was getting.
Tammy Bruce is AOK and has bigger stones than most in GOP Inc and in the ranks of professional conservative analysts.
I’m with her. :-)
Tammy Bruce is my favorite alongside Crowley...she has a California sensibility that I appreciate, but above all:
Tammy was/continues to be one of Sarah Palin’s biggest defenders and supporters. I felt so betrayed by the Republican establishment in the way it treated Palin - the way the GOP-E pays no respect to her legacy nor to those who championed her candidacy most. (aka those who make up much of newfound TRUMP BASE!)
It frustrated me so much. So much so that I refused to vote for Mitt Romney in 2012. I didn’t vote at all.
Soo glad I didn’t as 2012 paved the way for Mr. Trump. I also appreciate Steve Bannon for his movie “The Undefeated” — about the media/establishment’s crusade to take down Palin. Tammy Bruce featured heavily in it.
Michelle Malkin - I like her, but sometimes her temperament can be abrasive and I found her defense of the Internment of Japanese and Asian Americans during WWII (she wrote a book about it) a bit of a stretch. There are far better subjects to defend and explore — and that was a poor choice.
Feel similarly about Dana Loesch for different reasons.
Crowley and Tammy are great. :)
Ingraham is good where she is at Fox.
Well said... thanks for posting.
Flush the swamp and all the floaters in the Senate and House!!!
Winning!
I'm 64 and I clearly remember the host saying, would You like to be Queen for a day?!" There were only two or three channels any TV would pick up. If your mother or grandmother had the TV on, no one could help but hear it.
Great speech. Well worth the 30 minutes listening to it. Monica Crowley shares President Trump’s ability to cut right to the bone and tell it straight.
I seriously doubt that.
They had no TV-ears back in “de” day. The Host, Jack Bailey. Not that I remember, but Kimberly Clark should have been the sponsor. The sob stories heard would have drummed up astronomical business for them.
Bump!

Love you Monica C!! I am so glad you are back in center stage, Monica! You are a true patriot!!
Well said, VK. Real short and sweet.
Our republic is being saved by a man with integrity who also loves or country, its people, and its founding principles.
George Washington was another such man. As the first President, he set the tone of a true Republic. Instead of acting like a dictator, he followed the Constitution.
Discounting the American Revolutionary War, Trump is faced with a somewhat tougher task than Washington. The Washington swamp weed is so well-rooted and its plants are invasive. But somehow Trump is moving forward. Dramatic things are happening. Traitors and the lawless are being exposed in government, in the media, and Hollywood.
We the MAGA movement are making this all happen under Trump’s extraordinarily — and “ballsy” leadership.
Very well done speech by Monica. Thanks for the post.
She was very outspoken against gay marriage. Civil unions fine, marriage no. She felt the left was mocking religion by demanding “marriage”. And they are.
Whatever her preference, in this house both of us like her as well. She was at one time a very frequent guest on the network. Assume TPTB cut her air time due to her preference choice and not her failure to communicate. As to a show of her own, do believe she could and would be just as much a draw as some we see in today’s world; perhaps even better.
