Pro-Shiite Militia Chiefs conferring on anti-Israel
operations were targets of Israeli air strike
An Israeli air raid early Saturday, Dec. 2 struck a group of pro-Iranian Shiite militia chiefs
holding a secret conference at the Syrian Army’s 91st Brigade base near Kiswah.
Iranian and Hizballah officers are reported among the casualties. ....
The base itself lies 14km southwest of Damascus and around 50km from the Golan.
Gathered there were all the militia commanders operating in southern Syria to receive
their orders in advance of a major offensive to capture rebel pockets in the Quneitra region
opposite Israel’s Golan positions

Those rebels include al-Qadea and ISIS, both of which have a presence along the border with Israeli territory. Strangely, neither ISIS nor al-Qaeda has attacked Israel or vice versa, despite sharing a border for several years.

ISIS has tried to set up terror cells in Israel but they were caught. Al Qaeda may have launched some small failed operations from the Golan Heights region.
AQ seems to be preoccupied with killing people in the Sinai Desert, though it could also have been an ISIS offshoot.
Anyway, if Israel kills these bastards, the world and our children can sleep a little safer at night.

However it is in Israel interest to keep its enemies fighting each other especially while it's outside it's borders.

Took me a while to figure out what you were trying to say, but I’ll give it a try.
The Syrians are just as anti-Israel as the rest of the characters fighting there, but they are tied up fighting ISIS, the SDF (supposedly our friendlies), etc.
Meanwhile Iran was trying to occupy part of Syria so as to build a run system from their country all the way into Lebanon, a good part of which they control by their genocidal proxies, Hezbollah (who are actively fighting against Israel and anyone else Iran says to fight).
Throw in some Hamas fighters in Syria (again, active genocidal enemies of Israel) and you have a real Hungarian Goulash of extremists fighting each other when they are not fighting Israel.
Therefore Israel has to pick key threatening targets in Syria including Syrian CBW and nuclear weapons development facilities, anti-aircraft sites protecting Hezbollah training and staging facilities/arms depots, and some Al Qaeda/ISIS targets if they get too close to the Israeli border.
As Mr. Spock would say about the Israeli strikes - “Logical”.
