According to the charging document, those false statements were that:
"On or about Dec 29, 2016, FLYNN did not ask the Government of Russia’s Ambassador to the United States ... to refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions that the United States had imposed against Russia that same day; and FLYNN did not recall the Russian Ambassador subsequently telling him that Russia had chosen to moderate its response to those sanctions as a result of his request."
"On or about December 22, 2016, FLYNN did not ask the Russian Ambassador to delay the vote on or defeat a pending United Nations Security Council resolution; and that the Russian Ambassador subsequently never described to FLYNN Russia’s response to his request.”

Yep. Talk to ten people and indict the one who tells the story different for “lying”.
They had Trump Tower bugged.
It is a felony to lie to or even mislead the FBI whether under oath or not.
The notes of FBI agents during an interview are accepted as evidence. That’s why the FBI didn’t make recordings or notes during Hillary’s interviews. They weren’t going to chance her unwittingly whistle-blowing herself.
Reminds me of John Dean and Nixon. Hope it doesn’t come to that.
The original interactions with Russia were a big nothing burger. Flynn lied about it and if he did, I don’t know why he would do that. He was permitted under the law to say these things to the Russian ambassador. No treason topics nor election cheating were discussed.
So a guy who has already lied to the FBI and to others is now going to swear that he’s telling the truth to the FBI?
Fact: Mueller has reached the term limit (12 years) to be Director of the FBI, yet, in April the POTUS met with him under the guise of interviewing him for the job.
Fact: Mueller compromised by Uranium One dealings.
Opinion: The POTUS gave him a choice and a chance to clean up his act. In essence, he was told he can either end his career and legacy as the hero that saved the Republic, or spend the remainder of his life behind bars.
Fact: Remember, in the 2cd debate, Mr. Trump vowed that he would appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate and imprison the Clinton Cartel.
Facts: Mr. Mueller IS that Special Prosecutor. The Clinton Gang specializes in selling Secrets, Uranium, as well as Blackmailing persons in positions of influence and power. Notice that Mueller’s staff specialize in those activities, and as Democrats, have access to information others would not have. Not all Democrats are bad, many believe in the Republic and sovereignty of this great nation, and are very angry about how the DNC has hijacked the party into a Globalist/Socialist front.
Opinion: Sessions is playing this perfectly.
Does this also mean we can drop the pretense that Jeff Sessions is an honorable man rather than a lily liveried back stabber? Session sucks to the extreme.
And that needs to be changed. An FBI agent who blindly follows orders comes back to the office and puts in his notes what Comey tells him to put in them. Not to mention Comey giving his list of lies he says are notes to the NY Times. Shouldn’t that be a crime?
Let this be a lesson to all. If you’re being interviewed by the cops about anything turn on your phone’s video and let them know it’s being recorded.

As I understand it, with or without an oath, lying to the FBI is a felony, and it’s a separate and distinct charge.

I hope that each of us still has the Fifth Amendment Right, but watching what goes on today, makes me wonder.
Waste of time... she will never face prosecution.
