To say yesterday was a bad day for Pelosi is putting it mildly. She allowed ego and hurt feelings to trump (see what I did there) the possibility of proving the Democratic Party is willing to sit down and negotiate on important issues like immigration. Instead, she and Chuck Schumer chose not to attend a planned meeting with President Trump, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin. Seems Pelosis delicate feelings got hurt when the President tweeted ahead of time that he didnt think there could be a deal because Pelosi and company were soft on the issues of immigration and crime. My goodness, if that wasnt an opening to prove not only to Trump but to the country that the Democrats are willing to to deal with the issues plaguing our nation instead of playing petty politics, I dont know what is. Instead, Pelosi and Schumer skipped the meeting. They then snubbed the President, offering instead to meet only with McConnell and Ryan. Never one to miss a good PR moment, Trump made sure to let the nation know.

"Doesn't anyone here know how to play this game?" -- Casey Stengel
Aside from President Trump (who plays it very well), I'm not sure I know another politician who understands how politics is played in the 21st century.
I agree with you in the sense that they are outclassed by a world-class player.
That tape was pure gold however, both Ryan and McConnell looked like they would have been preferred to be anywhere in the world rather than sitting there with President Trump. They both probably ran to Chuckie and Pelousy right after the event was over to apologize.
Of course it was a test. DJT laid down the gauntlet and the dims tripped over it. It’s not like they treat DJT with any respect.
They only have one playbook, Trump is running rings around them, and I love it!!
Go Mr President!
When will we see this bunch of fossils dying off? This proves the lush medical coverage that these parasites get on our dime is much too comprehensive.
Shocked to hear that when Pelosi had the nerve to seek a separate meeting with Ryan and MCConnell, they told her “No, the meeting you seek was at the White House already, with the president”.
Fall over!
Ryan and McConnell exhibit the first decent push back, EVER, since Trump won the nomination! (Now she’s mad and calls these two “PROPS”, for showing up at the WH.)
Democrats are used to running over Republicans.
No kidding.
Testosterone seems to be infectious...even with these two.
It is only going to get much worse. The current goings on is only battlefield preparation.
YES! It darn sure does.
The feminists must be estrogen outraged and desperate... thus, 40 year old UNSUBSTANTIATED stories emerge to destroy the outspoken, and somewhat whacky, but old time moralist Roy Moore.
Who dares stand for the Ten Commandments in this era, willing to get the boot from the Alabama Supreme Court, and who turns around to run for the US Senate?
By the way, did the Left do away with the Statute of Limitations, entirely?

Their move now will be to attempt a temper tantrum and lose on a vote, which will make them look bad, or they can just shut up and go along, or at least a goodly number who are facing a tough campaign next year, which will undermine their so-called leadership (more than the sex payola scandal is).
