House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi defended Rep. John Conyers on Sunday while saying accusations of sexual harassment against the 88-year-old Democratic congressman from Michigan should be taken “seriously.”
On NBC’s “Meet The Press,” Pelosi called Conyers “an icon in our country” who “has done a great deal to protect women” and deserves “due process.”
“Just because someone is accused — and was it one accusation? Is it two?” Pelosi, D-Calif., said. “The fact is, as John reviews his case, which he knows, which I don’t, I believe he will do the right thing.”
Last week, BuzzFeed revealed that in 2015, Conyers settled a sexual harassment and wrongful dismissal complaint with a woman who said she was fired the year before because she refused to provide sexual favors to him. Another former staffer of Conyers said she faced daily harassment from him in a separate, sealed lawsuit that she attempted to file this year. But the woman abandoned the effort after a judge refused to seal the suit. The House Ethics Committee has launched an investigation into the claims.

Ahhhh yes... ‘stepping down’ but not out, off, away, or anything else. He will still have all the perks. Reminds me of Senator Feinstein when it was revealed that she had been funneling BILLIONS of federal dollars to herself and her husband. She ‘stepped down’ as head of the committee she used to funnel all the taxpayer dollars, but she, of course, KEPT all the money, and the Senatorial perks.

* She supports a lot of commie/Marxists in Congress so this is nothing new.
* She must have gotten a goose from Conyers when she was younger and appreciated it.
* She’s looking for some “luvin” and any “John” won’t do.
All of the above plus the fact that she is a lunatic from Albemarle Street (Little Italy) in Baltimore. Her brother was a cowardly mayor during the riots in April 1968.
Mix all of this together and you have a “Pelosistein” creation, with an A.B. Normal brain but no soul, ethics, or rationality. Around San Francisco, her political area, this kind of person is viewed as “Normal”. It figures.
