WATCH: Colin Kaepernick Participates in 'Unthanksgiving Day'

Former San Francisco 49er Colin Kaepernick took his woke SJW act to Alcatraz Island Thursday to take part in what has become an annual event among Native American activists: the Alcatraz Indigenous People's Sunrise Gathering, also known as "Unthanksgiving Day."

Kaepernick made a surprise appearance at the event, telling the crowd, “[O]ur fight is the same fight. We’re all fighting for our justice, for our freedom. And realizing that we are all in this fight together makes us all the more powerful.”

[Does one need to point out the absolute absurdity of people "fighting for freedom" in what is already the freest nation in the world?]

He continued: "If there's one thing that I take away from today -- in seeing the beauty of everyone out here, it's that we're all getting stronger every day. We're getting larger and larger every day. I see the strength in everybody -- the dancing, the rituals. That is our resistance."

Kaepernick then repeated his line about fighting for justice and freedom: "We continue to fight for justice. We fight for our freedom and we continue on that path."

Suffice it to say -- he needs a better speechwriter.

Unthanksgiving Day commemorates the 19-month occupation of the island and former penitentiary by Native American activists from 1969 to 1971.

The 89 activists who occupied Alcatraz demanded that it be turned into an American Indian cultural center and school. The occupation ended after the government cut off their electrical power and telephone service and a fire destroyed numerous buildings on the island. A large force of government officers removed the remaining 15 people from the island on June 11, 1971.

When I first came to this land,
I was not a wealthy man,
So I built myself a shack,
And I did what I could.

I called my shack
Break My Back,
But the land was sweet and good,
And I did what I could.

When I first came to this land,
I was not a wealthy man.
So I got myself a farm,
And I did what I could.

I called my farm
Muscle In My Arm,
And I called my shack
Break My Back,
But the land was sweet and good,
And I did what I could.

When I first came to this land,
I was not a wealthy man.
So I got myself a cow,
And I did what I could.

I called my cow
No Milk Now,
And I called my farm
Muscle In My Arm
And I called my shack
Break My back,
Oh, the land was sweet and good,
And I did what I could.

When I first came to this land,
I was not a wealthy man.
So I got myself a wife,
And I did what I could.

And I called my wife
Run For Your Life,
And I called my cow
No Milk Now,
And I called my farm
The Muscle In My Arm,
And I called my shack
Break My Back,
But the land was sweet and good,
And I did what I could.

I posted that on a thread shortly after he started this nonsense and it became known she was a driving force.

It’s a real thing,... and I think this is a good example of it.

I’ve read about that Un-Thanksgiving Day. They all wrap it up before 9:00A.M. so they can get home in time to throw a turkey in the oven. Some rebellion.

I realize that Alcatraz hasn’t housed a prisoner in over 50 years, but the sound of “Kapernic in Alcatraz” has a nice ring to it.

“And realizing that we are all in this fight together makes us all the more powerful.”

Yeaah Yeah, read this fool! 1842 Slave rebellion in Oklahoma!

http://www.okhistory.org/publications/enc/entry.php?entry=SL002

“The Cherokee Nation sent the Cherokee Militia, under Capt. John Drew, with eighty-seven men to catch the runaways. This expedition was authorized by the Cherokee National Council in Tahlequah on November 17, 1842. The militia caught up with the slaves seven miles north of the Red River on November 28, 1842. The tired, famished fugitives offered no resistance.”

It’s good that these people are still out there doing what they are doing — it serves to remind people of Obama’s onslaught of America ... hopefully they will keep up the good work

Could be. Delusion is the key word here, regardless.
