April Ryan, White House reporter for American Urban Radio networks and CNN analyst, demanded President Donald Trump’s Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders provide proof she baked a pie she tweeted a photo of on Thanksgiving Day.
It started on Thursday with Sanders doing what many Americans did that day–post a photo of their Thanksgiving Day meal, “I dont cook much these days, but managed this Chocolate Pecan Pie for Thanksgiving at the family farm!”
Ryan commented late Friday morning making clear she was not joking, demanding Sanders provide proof, and included a jab at Sanders asking reporters earlier this week to state what they are thankful for, “Show it to us on a table” and “I am not trying to be funny but folks are already saying #piegate and #fakepie Show it to us on the table with folks eating it and a pic of you cooking it. I am getting the biggest laugh out of this. I am thankful for this laugh on Black Friday!”

I looked at the pie - by “managing” it, it may just mean she put it in the oven, who knows.
But this attack comes from somebody who gets called on at every dam_
press briefing based on her race card. What a petty person. She got nuttin’ else.
Obviously, if she can’t provide the proof, she will have to step down.

The hatred and anger against Trump is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in this country. You have to face these people down, trying to shame them which is a doubtful task. I think most people understand what happened to Rand Paul and realize these sort of blindside attacks are becoming likely.

Ryan is a graduate of Morgan State University and was awarded an honorary doctorate from her alma mater in 2017. She began her media career as a jazz disc jockey before turning to reporting.

Trump Press Secretary, in a self-depricating statement, shares that she makes a popular pie for Thanksgiving--she gets raked over the coals; media likely will call for a Congressional oversight committee. No biased press here.

Sanders should produce the pie and then smash it right in April Ryan’s kisser!
Here’s the scandalous part, I mean sadly, Sarah may have to resign first thing Monday morning: it looks like a premade pie crust in a foil pan, not a pie plate. So for a busy mother of three, it is very easy and quick to make a pecan pie filling and put it in a premade crust. And yes, that would still count as baking a pie. So the Lizard Queen Val Jarrett and bitter April take her to task for that. What small people. Sad! But POTUS will pardon her.
