Very true about Buddy Holly Luv. Thanksgiving was a challenge. My son came up from San Antonio for turkey but he blew out a tire on I-10 about half way (Boerne). He drives a BMW and for some reason they have no spare. (run-flat tires). He made it to Discount Tire in Boerne (closed for Thanksgiving) and we picked him up and brought him (and his dog) home for Thanksgiving dinner. He spent the night here and one of his friends took him back to Boerne this morning - picked up his car with a new tire and made it to work in San Antonio on time. So, Thanksgiving was a test this year. ;o)
Lonely Street--Andy Williams (1959)
LOL! Love that tune.
Not familiar with Dave Koz but I’m a big Peter White fan. Saw him perform a couple of times when I lived in NC.
Meltin’ like buttah heah.
Aw, man! What a shame your son had car trouble on a holiday of all times. I’m just glad that he lives close enough that it wasn’t a really long drive to pick him up! Kind of shortened the time together though. Just glad you got to be together.
My bunch live too far away now....WY. We do have my MIL here now, though, and are VERY thankful for that!
Max is one of the best song writers in TX today

Same style. Love dat rockabilly!
Andre Williams recorded for Fortune Records, Devora Brown’s Detroit diskery, which churned out a lot of great rhythm and blues music.
I’d love to see some of my favorite smooth jazz artists. But they never come here. Best we can do is country or rap artists. MEH.
Dave Koz is a great sax player and has tons of songs.
Wow! That’s a way-back. I don’t recall hearing this tune before. Fun stuff!
