The Party of Women: Dem Rep Says Sexual Misconduct Allegations Against Conyers ‘Could Be Made Up’

The Democrats are in a tough bind. Yes, Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore has been hit with horrendous allegations of sexual molestation and abuse. Yet, it’s hard for Democrats to play holier than thou given how they treated Bill Clinton’s accusers. Moreover, given that there’s been an epiphany from some on the Left that they were just terrible people during the Clinton presidency, it’s also hard to cast aspersions on the voters of Alabama who are going to vote for Roy Moore next month. Guy exposed that yesterday debating this subject with Democratic operative Zac Petkanas on Fox. Guy asked Petkanas if he would vote for Bill Clinton, an accused rapist, if he were running against someone like Ted Cruz; Petkanas dodged proving Guy’s point that yes—Democrats would still vote for Bill even with all these allegations. Both sides have egg on their face with these atrocious actions. What counts is the reaction—and Democrats have been playing some gymnastics on this, especially their allies in the news media. With Conyers, Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) went so far as to say the women accusing Conyers could be lying (via CBS News) [emphasis mine]:

horrendous allegations of sexual molestation and abuse

I think that overstates the nature of the allegation. And anyway, the allegations against Moore have been thoroughly debunked, they are old news, and we need to move on. But Conyers is fresh meat. Have at it.

If Conyers paid hush money or someone paid it for him, it’s an admission of guilt. Folks need to think about that when they settle.

Just a joke, of course, but not too far from reality.

Observation: The people dems are accused of molesting are dems who worked with them and around them.
The people Moore is accused of molesting are dems, who may very well have received money to make the claims.
Same with BJ Clinton. They were all dem women that that were thrown under the bus.

Yep, and the sky could be blue, and the air could be breathable, and men and women are different, and.....get off it ace. You are nothing more than an ultra-liberal tool by he DNC to go out and do their dirty work. You have proven that by being one of the few that voted against recounting the Ohio results in 2004.

Was Conyers paid hush money part of the $17M that Congress paid out to keep these kind of things secret? It does not sound like it. So if that is indeed the case the $17M is a low number. The real number is larger than that.

Then you have the likes of Maxine Waters who says Conyers has been good for their causes and should be supported no matter what.

The Moore allegations are ABSOLUTELY TRUE simply because the women say so, and you CNNOT question their veracity or you’re enabling an abuser.

But...

Al Franken is in trouble because he hugs people a little too aggressively, and

the allegations against Conyers are ABSOLUTELY FALSE simply because the women said they were true, and if you believe these women, you’re a racist.

So, why did he pay the money? Oh, that’s right. It wasn’t his money. Everyone should sent a FOIA request to get the names of the congress critters who paid the victims with our money.

I think I read somewhere that it was from campaign money, which is illegal. Where ever it came from, payment is an admission of guilt.
