Why not? I want to read FR memebers refutations of his article. Unfortunately, a lot of what I read are mocking the author himself and do not deal with the content of his article.

Generally, if you’re told a lie, don’t repeat it. Neutralize the lie by speaking the truth. Lies aren’t defeated by repeating the lie. Lies are defeated by repeating the truth. We should have our eyes on the prize - in this case, politically, what it takes to recover our Free Constitutional Republic. That should be what we major on and focus on.
Some have said if they didn’t know any better they would think FR was a Leftist site what with all the pro-Lying Left headlines steaming across.
To be honest, part of the problem IMO is many know what they’re against but have difficulty clarifying for themselves what they are for. That may be one reason FReepers continually want to publish and then bash the Leftist lies rather than mostly publish the truth that will actually defeat the lies.
So if you have to, IMO, at least get the story from a relatively reliable source or put up your own blog post so at least the headline and the first few sentences are reasonably reliable.
Affirmative action columnist praises feminism and gay rights and then complains that Republicans are religious bigots and hypocrites—which is it? The NYT has sunk so low.

Jim, forgive me but I think that you have got it wrong. Many of the greatest moments and accomplishments here on Free Republic have come from the discussions about the lies coming from our opponents.
Would Dan Rather have been exposed and forced to resign if those here had just ignored his lies? No, this is a place where the left’s lies can be repeated and repudiated. And what we have discussed and discovered can then be disseminated to a wider audience which sometimes results in the public having their perceptions changed despite all the efforts opposing us.
Absolutely, but as I said, we should find and post reasonably reliable sources or our own blog, that have already deconstructed the lie and replaced it with the truth and with a headline that says the truth. The key is the headline and the first few sentences because not everyone has time to drill down. The endless stream of negative, lying headlines sabotages our purpose IMO.
You are making a good point; we are being flooded with nonsense every day. And it can be exhausting. But ignoring it will not make it go away.

The ‘60s destroyed what racial equality existed, and it has gone down the chute to the abyss ever since.
Women had the right to stay home and teach and enjoy the kids, which right they have essentially lost.
Gay rights? They’ve always had the right to look foolish and live in dysfunction; what has changed?
A perceived ‘threat’ presented by the full acceptance and inclusion of L.G.B.T. insanity?
Unfortunately few seem to be that perceptive!

I used to vote primarily along intellectually derived lines. However, the behavior of the left has made me realize that we are in a cold civil war, and I must vote for my team regardless of the individual. Don't blame me, blame the left.
