Papa John's Pizza apologized Tuesday night for comments made by CEO John Schnatter blaming sluggish pizza sales on NFL players kneeling during the national anthem.
The Louisville, Kentucky-based company is a major NFL sponsor and advertiser, and Schnatter said on an earnings call on Nov. 1 that "NFL leadership has hurt Papa John's shareholders" and that the protests "should have been nipped in the bud a year and a half ago."
The company tweeted a statement offering to "work with the players and league to find a positive way forward."

That dissapoints me. Since Papa John’s showed Patriotism, we’ve ordered two dinners from them. Now they have to be moved to the DNC list (Do Not Call).
I wasn’t a fan of the Pizza but wanted to show support. I guess my son will have to find a new favorite Pizza.

I have never considered Papa Johns “pizza,” neither is Pizza Hut nor Little Caesar’s they are fast food and not very good.
I am just finished with the NFL and anything and everything associated with it, I am so damned tired of cowards.
Like every other CEO he swallowed a bunch of BS from the SJW’s in his marketing department that it was either Go Lib or watch the business crash and burn.

Pathetic capitulation to political correctness. I’ve bought their (barely edible) pizza in the past because it’s cheap, but I’m done. Never again, and I won’t miss it a bit.
