Conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer says he is making progress in his recovery from post-surgery complications and promised to his fans on Fox News that he will return.
"Thanks to all for your cards, letters and good wishes. I am still recovering from major surgery 12 weeks ago. I have graduated from the ICU to an advanced rehab facility to regain my strength and stamina," Krauthammer said in a note shared by Fox News host Bret Baier on Tuesday. Krauthammer is a panelist on Baier's show, "Special Report."

I wish him well.
And I hope he retires. I don’t like his politics.
Take your time Chuck. No rush to come back so you can piss me off every other day.
A G R E E !!! Take lots of time off.
I hope he has a complete recovery but we don’t need him back. just retire Charles. And take George Will with you.
Hoping he had a Beltway Elitist-ectomy.
Ditto. He’s not quite as virulent an anti-Trumper as Kristol or Will, but he comes close.
Last I heard, removing your head from your arse IS a very complicated surgery with a lengthy recovery. In the case of RINOs, it also has a low success rate with a high frequency of relapse.
Probably had to have all that Trump bile surgically removed.
Prayers up, for Charles. He is NOT, however, a conservative. Misleading first sentence.
Amazing what they can do these days. He had brain surgery. Surgically implanting some “clues.” He can now end a lifetime of being clueless.
Jeez, this is a tough crowd.
Please, please, stay away, Charles, you gun-grabbing liberal scum.
Wasn’t the Kraut also a brain surgeon in his earlier life?
He was/is a psychiatrist.
Yes, I just posted a kindly little note, and everybody jumps on a poor, recovering invalid who’s had a really hard time with whatever surgery it was, and it had to be a BIG MOTHAH.
Cranium rectal inversion reversal surgery is a delicate procedure with a long recovery time.
I wish him well too but I do not miss him one bit.
Being quadriplegic, he does not seem to have any respiratory reserve when he speaks, it seems labored. If he had a major surgery, it may have been a very prolonged time to get him off the ventilator. Sounds like a long road.
Maybe Jennifer Rubin can help him, full time, in his prolonged convalescence.
