Known for his insightful take on politics, journalist and author Thomas Wictor believes Judge Roy Moore’s signature in Gloria Allred accuser Beverly Young Nelson’s yearbook is a forgery.
The sevens in 1977 to the right of “Christmas,” are very different from the sevens in the date (12-22-77) above “Old Hickory House.” “Look at the two versions of the number “7,” tweeted Wictor.
“”12-22-77” and “Olde Hickory House” were written by a different person,” he added.
Next, Wictor points out “the “R” and “y” in “Roy,”” are not written the same way.

This same woman says that she got in the car with Moore and when he went after her, he had all the doors locked and she could not get out...This was 1977...Cars did NOT have lock buttons that lock all the doors from the driver’s side until the early eighties...She could’ve unlocked the door and got out...

Okay maybe Roy signed his name, but the rest??? Or maybe someone else named ‘Roy’ signed this and the rest was added...did she do it??? Did All Red do it???
The ONLY people involved in this is the people of Alabama, no one but those living in that State have a right to say yes or no...
I think it’s obvious that the date and location were written by the accuser.
I think Roy Moore signed the page.
Everything from “DA” to the end appears to be in different handwriting, but establishing the intent isn’t a slam-dunk. It might have been an annotation added innocently by the owner of the yearbook (or someone else) to identify the signer and occasion. Hence the misunderstanding of Moore’s job title at the time, and the misspelling of the restaurant name. But I will say I’m mystified by the grandfatherly tone being used by a guy in his early thirties. That points to forgery of the whole.
OMG, it’s not even the same color ink.
This is as bad as the Rather Typewriter.

An ink test, alone, would prove the ink used was recently manufactured and recently used on that paper.
I’m wondering if the black and blue ink effect is more an artifact of the scan than evidence of two pens. The “Moore” does appear to resemble other Moore signatures. But the whole thing could be a forgery.

Why would anyone write “Christmas 1977”, then write “12-22-77”?
For that matter, why would anyone write the location , “Old Hickory House”, where you signed the book? Why would that be relevant?
And why would he write cursive and then switch to type? Makes no sense.

I'm not so sure at all. The word "Roy" and the word "Moore" are different colored ink. It appears someone named "Roy" signed her yearbook and the the words "Moore, DA" were added later.
Forensics have people who could tell you if any of this is a fraud. Those examiner will go back and find other documents with known samples of Moore’s hand writing to use in order to make there determination. So the truth or fabrication of this is easily determined by and expert.
But in any case. Can someone please explain what is so terrible about what is written there. I must be missing something.
I understand All-Red won’t let anyone near the yearbook.
I wonder why?
