MONTGOMERY, Alabama A new poll from JMC Analytics shows Democrat Doug Jones taking a lead over conservative Republican Judge Roy Moore in the Senate race here as allegations against Moore from the Washington Post roil the Senate race.
The poll, released on Sunday morning, shows Jones at 46 percent and Moore at 42 percent while Arlester McBride, an independent, gets 2 percentand 9 percent are undecided.
With leaners included, Jones clocks in at 48 percent, Moore at 44 percent, and McBride at 2 percent with 6 percent undecided.
The survey was conducted on Nov. 9 and Nov. 11after the Washington Posts piece on Moore broke. Its sample size is 575 likely voters and has a 4.1 percent margin of error with a 95 percent confidence interval.
The news here is not good for Moore-this pollster was accurate throughout the primaries, despite claims from GOP establishment sources aligned with appointed incumbent Sen. Luther Strange that his polling was not right.

He needs to stay in and there is plenty of time for the facts to come out about these accusers.
JMC has been around for a mere seven years. Something founded during the Obama years has very sketchy credibility IMO.
Roy Moore needs to get almost 70% of the white vote to win.

Thanks. I appreciate your well thought out response. The Washington Post tried to conflate legal cases above the age of consent with this accusation. The libs keep saying there are 30 sources. No, there are 30 people in the article, and many are related to the three cases over the age of consent. Obviously, if he’s guilty he has to step down, but if he’s innocent, he should fight. It would be terrible to see one who is innocent lose a race over this. He certainly maintains his innocence, and I would hate to see that seat in the hands of a Democrat.
Ana Navarro on CNN thought Rudy would pass, and she’s an establishment Republican who voted for Hillary. She said she knows that enough Republicans like him in the Senate where he probably could have gotten through.
Good. I sent him $100 day before yesterday. Were not the only ones. Hes collected $130k in almost 3 days.
There you go and probably more error and failures that are publicly not known.
All throughout the presidential election in about every poll that we could see the internals, there were always something skewed, contradictory, or in error. The polls were in error so much that the pollsters either lied to themselves and everyone or they were plain dumb. Why is that? Because liberals mostly do polling and their error level went even higher because they didn't like Trump. Roy Moore is now the target of their hostility.
The B E S T post I have read on FreeRepublic in a very long time. Excellent!!!
No need or use for pussy ass Republicans at all.
Moore fights, I’d vote for him.
Wouldn’t lift a finger for Strange or anyone else replacing Moore.
GOP can go to Hell.
Since I haven’t had a stroke causing terrible amnesia since November of last year when Hillary Clinton was supposed to win the presidency in a landslide, I am not worrying now.
The next step in the anti Trump/anti America revolution, is the GOP (insert individual description here, being a Christian woman, I cannot state mine) establishments effort to giver the Senate (and the House and ultimately the White House) back to the communist/avortionists-ER ah excuse me, the Democrats
Oh well, were just going to have to get used to winning. Trump is a winner. Hes going to have to deal with this Alabama senate seat deal that two losers were vying for
He did NOT endorse Oore. He knows a loser when he sees one. Thats all
This is an old poll with a small sample. The most recent polls show Moore support solid. There are two choices stick with Moore who has been for the past 33 years a faithful married family man or throw the red seat to the Democrats and give the GOP E and Democrats more power. Even if the accusations against Moore are true no abuse is claimed. We need to do what was done when they tried to ruin Trump and defeat them. This kind of thing is bs. The WaPo in particular did everything it could to kill the story about Bill Clinton that led to his impeachment and they refuse to investigate Democrats for anything. These claims are the kind of thing that can not be proved with hard evidence. No one was scared for life or raped and at worst Moore simply dated a young woman with her parents approval and when she said she wanted to go home she says he took her home and didn’t pressure her.
Let’s see what the polls look like next week. I think it will be close but suspect Moore will win in the end.
But apparently you don’t understand the situation. Moore is on the ballot and there is no changing the ballots and no changing Moore. He is not dropping out. He is it.
There is no way a “write in Luther Strange on the ballot” plan would succeed anyway. So the hypothetical is absurd.
Prayer would be good.
Apparently Moore is still on track to sue Bezos’s Compost.

If Moore can’t win, the.lying media will have won. Nothing can be done to save that seat and McConnell or Pelosi will get a vote to impeach Trump in 2018. The Dems will take the election regardless
WHY CAN’T REPUBLICANS GROW A SET??
Totally agree.
Moore will be fighting back this week with some new information. No sense in getting excited until we are closer to Election Day.
“... [I]f McConnell-Bezos-WaPo behavior like this can chase a man like Roy Moore off his candidacy, it will happen CONSTANTLY, with EVERY Republican who isn’t another tame Romney-McConnell type.”
Which is, of course, the main point of the exercise. Appreciate all your points.
It is obvious that Soros money is buying the false sex stories and buying off the advertisers to cancel the Hannity show. The money they make taking these bribes can allow them to advertise in other venues. Expect them to run a few ads at the Super Bowl.
