As allegations that Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore had sexual contact with an underage girl almost 40 years ago roil the nationally watched race, other reports have surfaced that are taking the whole story into even more bizarre directions.
On Thursday, The Washington Post reported allegations about an incident that allegedly took place in 1979 between then 32-year-old Moore and a 14-year-old girl.
Now, a Twitter user identified as Doug Lewis, whose Twitter profile portrays him as a supporter of President Donald Trump and a Navy veteran, posted on the social media site that a family friend had contacted him regarding the situation.
The unidentified woman reportedly told Lewis that a Washington Post reporter — identified only as “Beth” — had offered her a substantial sum of money to accuse the GOP candidate of wrongdoing.

If nothing else, one false story deserves another. But I have little doubt that this story is true. I think the woman that claimed she was molested by Judge Moore should have an audit performed on her bank account, immediately.
Very likely the DA. Posting a video or information they have could result in Obstruction of Justice charges as well as a lawsuit by the named individual claiming libel. Best to keep the cards close to the vest at this juncture.
I hope this is true. I saw earlier said that Moore would be showing his evidence against these claims soon. I’ve also read that it was McConnell’s people spreading this rumor for a while now, and may have directed the WP to the story. If that is true, McConnell should resign, and go home in disgrace.
WaPo’s “evidence” is no better than this hearsay evidence.

It would be great if this is true and it backfires on the Commiepost and #ditchmcconnell.
The mother of the accuser has already knocked down a key part of the accuser’s story by claiming there was no phone in the accuser’s bedroom at the time. The accuser claims in the Commiepost that she talked to Roy Moore from a phone in her bedroom several times in the story.
It’s all unravelling on these corrupt a-****s. I love the people of FR as they smelled a rat right away on these whole shenanigans and are being proven, correct.

I think the setup narrative, by either Dems or Never-Trumpers is a far reach. They gain nothing by it, and in fact give rise to it possibly being the truth and that the accusations against Moore are false. Why would either want to plant that seed, and what would they hope to reap from it? The fact that some people might be fooled by it?
Why? To prevent obstruction of justice?
I know not the truth of it, but will wait for facts to come out.

This “anonymous source” journalism is right at level of rumor mongering and innuendo.
Another whispering campaign that shouted out, maybe a little too soon.
Alabama voters are not likely to be deterred, especially when it looks like the rumor was started by Deep State and/or Establishment Republicans.

They are all part of the same DC swamp and it's all a big power play by the swamp. It's also a power play to stick it to President Trump and really, the American people.
I do believe, behind the scenes, the DC swamp is losing bigly and this was nothing more than a desperation move to try to keep an outsider and God-fearing man out of their cabal.
And yes, they foolishly thought they could use their power to fool the people of Alabama but as you can research, Judge Roy Moore still has a nice lead over his opponent. It just goes to show how desperate the DC swamp really is risking a false story to try to defeat an anti-swamper.
I do believe lots of good things are happening behind the scenes to return to a Constitutional America and the DC swamp is going to get more and more desperate to hold on to power. Continued prayers go out for our country and for the safety of President Donald J Trump.

Other than from previous ‘accusations’ the typical weak in the shorts Republicans would typically cave and walk away. You would have to acknowledge this is the only template they have ever known and we also know how well it could be counted upon in the past.
All that has now changed by MAGA vetted candidates. It was stunning to hear Bannon live yesterday calling out and throwing down on the entire deep state specifically to that of McConnell, The Washington Free Beacon and more directly to Paul Singer.
