Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore on Saturday again adamantly denied sexual misconduct allegations and promised that "revelations about the motivations" behind the news report of his alleged behavior will come out in a few days.
His Democratic opponent, Doug Jones, meanwhile said Moore needs "to answer to the people of Alabama" about the "very serious allegations."
And the lawyer for a woman who says Moore dated her when she was 18 and he was in his 30s and supplied her with alcohol before she was of legal drinking age responded later Saturday to the candidate's comments. Paula Cobia, lawyer for Gloria Deason, blasted Moore for making what she called "defamatory statements" about "4 brave women."
"He knows full well why these women did not tell what he did to them before this week," Cobia wrote in a statement posted on Facebook on Saturday. "As young teenage girls in the late 1970s in a small, rural southern town, they had no way of knowing their rights, especially against him considering that he was a district attorney at the time."

And they remained teenagers in a small town in the rural south until a few weeks ago, when we found the cryogenic chamber where Roy Moore had them hidden. Had it not been for the dauntless courage of their lawyer, the secret chamber would have remained sealed forever. Here’s footage of the rescue:

Oh, wow, the network that hired the lead advisor to Juanita Broaddrick’s rapist as a “journalist” is helping a lawyer who is attacking a conservative? Color me NOT surprised.
Yeah, I don’t recall them even reporting the allegations of Larry Sinclair.
Deason said that their relationship started in 1979, and he never forced himself on her. They met while she worked at the jewelry counter of a department store inside Gadsden Mall when she was 18. She told The Post that she was attending Gadsden State Community College at the time and was still living at home with her parents, adding that she typically had a strict curfew. But because of Moores stature, her mother felt comfortable allowing him to see her.
My mom was really, really strict and my curfew was 10:30 but she would let me stay out later with Roy, Deason told The Post. She just felt like I would be safe with him.
She thought he was good husband material.
Deason and Moore dated for several months off and on, she said, adding that he took her to his home more than once. However, she said their physical relationship never got any further than kissing and hugging. https://infoforyour.com/gloria-thacker-deason-5-fast-facts-you-need-to-know/

Well back then dating didn’t automatically mean screwing. It’s hard to explain that to the hooking up generation. I believe it wasn’t sexual.
The seriousness of the charge mandates that we investigate this.
Even though there is no evidence, the seriousness of the charge is what matters.-- Tom Foley (1929-2013) former Democrat Speaker Of The House
In the State of Michigan in the 70’s, it was legal to drink at 17. Oh, and anyone could buy a pack of smokes for 50 cents from a vending machine.
I have first hand knowledge that in 1970 in CT, NY and NJ it was easy for minors to get someone to buy liquor for them and fairly easy to get served in a bar without being carded.in fact I got someone to buy for me in NJ when I was 13 in 1967.
That’s the weapon the left has been perfecting the last decade.
Pretty effect, don’t you think?
It’s like the neutron bomb. It kills conservatives, but leaves liberals completely unscathed.
I say make the SOL 15 years. If any “abused” female/male goes public after that, they can be sued into poverty for all the damages caused to the “alleged” criminal.
If true, That doesn't explain why they didn't come forward in the 1980's, or the 1990's or the 2000's or any time from 2010 to 2017.
They weren't young, uninformed teenage girls all those years.
It doesn't explain why after 40 plus years they suddenly decided the time was right to speak out just in time to affect the upcoming senate election.
This is an organized political attack engineered to steal the election and everyone including this headline-chasing jackleg knows it.
>>Alabama seems to believe him.<<

I believe Roy Moore.
I believe the one woman who claimed sexual contact is a LIAR—paid for by the opposition.
There has been no crime, . It has been nearly 40 years ago.
There is no proof.
The accuser worked for Clinton, and is an anti Trump, Moore liberal.
So the question is what exactly has he done wrong, and why now?]
We all know thew answer that this yet again is the same usual tired politics by the Dem party to destroy someone n order for them to win at all costs.
Newspapers never lie. Women never lie. Politicians never lie.
It’s not just the democrates though.
