One of Alabama GOP Senate candidate Roy Moore's most prominent backers pulled his support Friday evening in the wake of sexual assault allegations against the former state Supreme Court chief justice.
Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, posted on Twitter that "having read the detailed description of the incidents, as well as the response from Judge Moore and his campaign, I can no longer endorse his candidacy for the U.S. Senate."

Lee was also among the first to bail when the pussy tape came out last year.
He’ll probably fully support Romney next year. Sad.
Lee was one of the mavericks a few years back. Now he simply hopes to grovel sufficiently to his “COLLEAGUES” in the Senate to get a pass.

I thought I heard Moore say he admired Ted Cruz and Mike Lee during a Hannity interview...I guess he doesn’t anymore.

I don’t think the judge did very well on Hannity. The little I listened to seemed lawyeresque. Then again the allegations timing is as suspicious. I don’t believe the 14 year old’s story very credible, but there is no law for a 32 year old man woo’ing an 18 year old woman and there is wear he seemed to be having problems.

I wonder if Mike Lee a Latter Day Saint will go on to repudiate Brigham Young who married a girl at 15 when Young was 42. He also married several who were 16 years of age. Young had fifty-five wives in his lifetime.
