Roy Moore may or may not become a U.S. senator, but he was fortunate that the explosive allegations about him pursuing relationships with teenage girls (one as young as 14) while he was in his 30s emerged at a time in his party’s history when it had been preparing for years to defend something like this.
If Moore’s political ambitions survive, he’ll have President Trump — and the way the GOP, in service to Trump, abandoned any pretense of moral principle — to thank. [snip]
But if you read the story, it’s almost impossible to believe it isn’t true. Our reporters found four different women, none of whom know each other, telling similar stories of Moore pursuing them when they were teenagers. They didn’t come forward themselves — the reporters, after hearing rumors that apparently had been circulating in Alabama for years, tracked them down and convinced them to share their stories. They have nothing to gain. Relatives and friends corroborate the stories. And if more women don’t come forward, I’d be shocked.
In short, the Republican Party has made amply clear that it holds no moral principle above seizing and maintaining power. So a U.S. Senate candidate hit on teenage girls as a man in his 30s? If he can get away with it, Republicans can live with it.

The voters have a way of seeing this sort of thing for what it is, so yes, Access Hollywood was good preparation.

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets that proved themselves during the 2016 campaign to be operatives of the DNC and intentional liars. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.
If this story is true and has some redeeming value, at least get the story from a relatively reliable source, not from a known Lying Leftist operative posing as a “news” organization.
We should be mostly publishing the truth on FR, not the lies, and as much good news as possible to bolster morale. We should find and post reasonably reliable sources that have already deconstructed the lie and replaced it with the truth and with a headline that says the truth. We need much more of that on FR IMO.
I want to know how much changed hands and whose checkbook it was.
The GOP is helping them politically assassinate Roy Moore and they know it.
This is just a way to dig at Trump.
Everything is about preventing the citizens from keeping their country.
They intend to only allow us to vote for open borders/amnesty candidates, like it was before Trump broke the Bush blockade at the RNC.
The Bush Plan for North Mexico and protecting the 30 million people they invited here against our will is the most important thing to the Uniparty.
When I heard that Moore had drunkenly driven off a bridge and run off to leave a young woman to drown I decided I was through with him.

Bingo!!!! All this started with a false premise, and every COMPOST article and writer continues to reiterate and magnify that false premise against Moore, now bringing the president into the mire. FU Bezos!!!!!!
This is why Donald Trump is now President of the United States, and Mitt Romney and Jeb Bush are not.
Every political candidate should have this attitude:
If Ted Kennedy could plant his ass in the U.S. Senate for 47 years, then even Charles Manson shouldn’t be disqualified from serving.

If the GOPe and the MSM, working together, manage to take out Moore based on that hoax, then no conservative Republican will ever again be elected to a top job.
They won’t mess around with the small fry, but when the stakes are high, they will have a successful play book to attend to.
They have for a while. Their previous hit job against Roy Moore was such a dud that no one noticed. The paper is the arm of the DNC at this point.
Apparently the public hears unsubstantiated allegations, while those speaking out seem to know something that we don’t.
Even the president is commenting that the judge “will do the right thing”.
Something is up.
