President Trump on Thursday believes Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore “will do the right thing and step aside” if the sexual misconduct allegations against him are true, the White House said in a statement.

President Trump can’t “stay out of this.” His silence would be taken as an implicit acknowledgement that the allegations are true.

Funny how the democrats have stayed out of this mess. They don’t have to say anything.
McConnell started it and this is all on the Repugs. All the Rats have to do is sit back and watch the Repugs infight ourselves to one less Senate Seat.
Any time these type accusations are made the Republicans should have a two-word answer: “Bill Clinton.”

Tune into 93.1 fm if you can this morning. It’s being discussed. One host said the reporter had been in Gadsden for a while trying to dig up dirt on Moore. They discussed the 14 y.o. had made similar charges against a local preacher at one point years ago but never at Moore...until now...
Someone should ask McConnell what happened to his army career...
Hart and Edwards were pikers compared to Barney Frank. Hell, I bet Clinton would have a hard time matching the “Madam” of a gay whorehouse, run out of his basement...while he was a member of Congress.
Exactlt what I expected, Trump threw him under the Bus. We stood by Trump when he faced allegations, but I guess he only cares when its about him. Trump has lost me, he is a Coward.

Typical lib dirty tricks, they’ll do anything to get this guy tossed. I remember liking this guy because of his stance on the 10 Commandments monument at his courthouse. The libs are doing anything they can to rip out anything that has the slightest religious context, the local govt. buckled like a belt, and this guy told them to go suck an egg.
It turned out that the Thomas smear was 100% false. Why did this story include “in the woods”? To creep people out! Not just “DROVE HER TO HIS HOME”. It was “DROVE HER **THROUGH THE WOODS** TO HIS HOME”. So creepy! Right. What a scumbag this woman is to do this.
She “prayed about it”. Yeah. God was telling her, “NOOO... don’t come out for 38 years, wait until Roy runs for the Senate!”
You’re right; lets hope Judge Moore doesn’t cave as so many other non-Democrats have done.

Moore is going to win by at least 15 points. Prior to this smear he was going to win by 10. This is as politically effective as everything else McConnell does. He’s about as incapable as anyone in his position has ever been...but then the U.S. Senate itself is the classic Ship of Fools.
