She told her son that the shooter paced back and forth, firing into the pews and shooting at cellphones anytime someone tried to call police. He shot at her phone at least three times. With every shot, she was crying, he said of the woman. She was just staring at my mom while she tried to comfort her. As he fired rounds into the woman, Farida Brown held her hand, telling her she was heading to heaven. At that moment, she heard a shot fired from a different man, at the front door. The other man was Stephen Willeford, who lives near the church.

It was Frederick Wiseman's 1966 documentary film "Titicut Follies," a harrowing view of life in an asylum in Massachusetts.
Intersting discrepancy but not unusual in those circumstances. Mrs. Brown is in shock at that moment. Sense of time and actual events not always clear.
“We used to have insane asylums where the mentally ill were confined and they tried to help them. Whatever happened to them? Why are the mentally ill wandering the streets?”
The pharmaceutical companies convinced lawmakers that drugs could medicate mentally ill people to the point they could function in society.
State and municipal governments rejoiced in the cost savings of being able to shut down the funny farms.
The rest is history. Sadly that history is being written today.
Yes, but you will note that the WaPo made certain to explain that he was a Certified Firearms Instructor.
That makes him in their eyes almost a LEO. He has had extensive training in how to safely handle firearms.
Your average citizen is not so well trained and should not have access to firearms. Probably even the people trained by Willeford should not have firearms because they are just hobbyist.
They let them all out and they became Democrat voters.
I watched the Crowder “interview”, if you wish to call it that . There was a period of time where the two pursuers would not have been able to observer nor hear the perp shooting himself and I don’t doubt an ME stating the fatal shot was self-inflicted.
“Leftists think its mean to lock up insane people.”
Well, they’re all just R. P. McMurphy, you know, just trying to have a little fun, right?
They’re still out there, but they are more empty than they should be. We have the MSM, the Democrat party, our universities, ANTIFA, and BLM to absorb most of the mentally ill these days?
The liberals got the ACLU to sue to close them and give back their civil rights to live on the street.
The two stories have to mesh in some way. Farida Brown was the next to be executed, but she wasn’t.
“..Why are the mentally ill wandering the streets?”...
Well, to put it rather plainly, the demodummies don’t want them in asylums because THEY VOTE! Liberals have done everything they can to keep them on the streets.
My suspicion is that he went back outside for either more weapons or to reload more ammo, to finish the job.
But that was when he encountered Willeford.
This is also the first story Ive seen that details the injuries caused by Willefords shots with leg and torso hits, followed by the perp taking himself out with the head shot.
...
I read the killer called his father first and said he thought he was going to die from the shots Willeford made.
But it’s not their fault.
Some things just take time, like driving somewhere.
Willeford didn’t claim to have killed the perp, just that he aimed at the gap in his body armor.
He said the perp didn’t move at the end of the chase.
“Yes, but you will note that the WaPo made certain to explain that he was a Certified Firearms Instructor.”
I did notice that and appreciate that you’ve brought it up for all to enter into our calculations. While I certainly honor Willeford’s efforts on Sunday and the results, I don’t give much weight to his “certified” status for his involvement.
Really? I find this extraordinary, as the Kennedy family, JFK’s sister, was mentally ill. In fact, she was institutionalized at a young age and eventually was lobotomized. She was an unfortunate and secret part of the Kennedy legacy. So did the JFK presidency atone for the horrific treatment of a sibling by allowing mentally ill persons to permeate our society so the Kennedy’s could feel good. Sounds like a true liberal to me.
Maybe he’d stopped his car at the church outside the door and got out to fire.
Jimmy Carter freed them
I am serious
