We’re hoping and praying for y’all!...................
What time will they call it?
It’s drizzling up here in Frederick County.
Darn! I voted for Gillespie when the polls opened. I hear NoVA has been slow due to rain but it is tapering off later this afternoon.
Voted this morning (Tidewater). Even though locally deep in blue territory, hoping Repubs pull off the win (just to watch the local libs’ heads implode).
I voted at about 7:45 this morning...more people there than last year. I voted at the same time last year. VA Beach is GOP territory.
I voted at 10:00 am at a blue Northern Virginia precinct in Fairfax. There was no line.
You're right. Gillespie is not my choice but the alternative is Ralph Northam for cryin' out loud! I originally planned to vote for Jill Vogel only and leave the other choices blank but Northam's pro abortion ads completely changed my mind.
Voted at 7:30AM in Manassas....extremely light traffic. I saw two voters in the whole joint besides me.
Despite leaving VA 5 years ago I still have my voter ID card. Wonder if there is enough time to hop on a plane and vote often....
Demoralized Democrats and ticked-off Republicans this year. I like the odds.
My daughter lives in Charlottesville. She gets off work at 3 and will vote Gillespie, Vogel and Adams.
“Average” turnout at my SWVA precinct. Maybe up a hair.
Just voted in the north.
I voted around 12:30 in western Fairfax county. There was no line, and the clerk sais, “Slow, but steady.”
I’m concerned about the large increase in absentee ballots here in NoVa, with some areas, such as illegal alien central Manassas, doubling the previous ballot numbers.
From InsideNOVA (11/6/2017):
“Manassas City, in particular, registered a 243 percent increase in early ballots cast through Nov. 6 compared to the last gubernatorial election in 2013.”
“Manassas Park wasnt far behind, recording a 236 percent bump over 2013s numbers, the second largest increase statewide.”
“Prince William finished fourth in state with a 211 percent increase of its own, slightly behind Accomack County, the home of Democratic gubernatorial nominee Lt. Gov. Ralph Northam. In all, Prince William voters cast 13,191 absentee ballots, after sending in 6,252 in 2013. In sheer raw numbers, thats the second highest absentee total in the state. Only Fairfax County recorded more absentee votes, with 41,751 ballots counted, up from 25,659 four years ago.”
I’ll be voting at my precinct in Gloucester County in a couple hours. Gloucester County is a very conservative location; I’ll try to get a count on the number of voters at the precinct and report back here on FR.
Bad weather in Va. That should help. Liberals are too lazy to go out in bad weather.
People on Gillespies FB page are reporting poll workers illegally filling out absentee ballots.
His FB is constantly updating with most recent news.
bump.
Gillespie is better than a RAT...but am I the only person who thinks he is the Repub version of Terry Mcauliffe?
