Oh wait! That never happened. Gosh, never mind.
This reminds me of what was discovered in the wake of the 1989 rampage at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal. Gamil Gharbi (aka Marc Lepine) was given a Firearms Acquisition Certificate by a Montreal police department firearms officer who apparently failed to do the proper background check on him and that would have likely revealed that he was something of a drifter and that he was turned down by the Canadian Forces for mental instability. As a result, he was able to legally purchase the Ruger Mini 14 sporting rifle he used to commit his infamous, horrible act.
He was still supposed to self-identify when filling out the form. The liberal democrat is dead now, so it no longer matters.
Federal Government:
So deadly they should monopolize healthcare.
How many more did Obama order the military to hide
We just need a bigger bureaucracy - hire more useless parasites on the taxpayer’s dime who can’t do their job.
Odd....Still nothing on Stephen Paddock....
Happened while Øbama was CIC...maybe the POTUS wanted violent and unstable people to buy firearms in order to fit his anti-gun narrative.
Someone was responsible for doing the paperwork. This person needs to join the Bergdahl Judge in Alaska for a NEW duty assignment
Damn. This is going to get ugly. It was probably an honest mistake. But this particular mistake has had appalling consequences. Whoever dropped the ball here is going to have to live with the knowledge of what their screw-up cost. I expect that will be far worse than any disciplinary action they may suffer.
He should not have been out of jail anyway. This is what happens when your judicial system gets soft.
Even though he received a year in prison for assault, he could have gotten more, and should have been disqualified.
“Mistake”
Let me say again that had he failed a background check, he would still have found a gun to do this with.
Background checks are worthless. They don’t stop criminals or whacko’s.
The Obama military doesn’t make “mistakes”.
Several points not addressed. Even if this had occurred on base {No source says where his assault of wife and child occurred}, since they both were civilians should not a civilian penalty meaning charges and conviction occurred as well? He fractured his sons skull a very serious assault an act of which he still should have been doing time for either in a stockade or a civilian prison. Double Jeopardy doesn’t apply to crimes committed in the military. Simply meaning both can try and convict on the same charge with both giving out sentences which must be served.
They had ONE job! This is the Govt in action..and the left wants us to believe that MORE Govt is the answer
Probably ordered not to put in data so as not to ruin the misunderstood young man’s life.
There is no excuse for this WHATSOEVER.
And whoever was responsible for not doing their job, should be tried for murder.
This makes me sick.
