Journalists Retell Their Election Night Horror Stories
'People were throwing up. People were on the floor crying'

Reporters, editors, and other members of the media are reliving their election night horror stories in a new exclusive detailing what journalists and figures in the presidential campaigns themselves experienced on the night of Nov. 8, 2016.
Esquire interviewed 40 people who either covered or worked on one of the campaigns during the 2016 presidential election. The individuals gave their personal stories about the unexpected election of President Donald Trump and the defeat of Hillary Clinton. Most of the reporters and editors who were interviewed expressed shock and horror at Trump's upset victory.
Here are some of their stories.
Rebecca Traister, writer at large for New Yorker Magazine, shared her feelings on being confident about a Clinton victory and how she subsequently felt "so alone" when it was apparent that Clinton would lose. She also observed Clinton supporters throwing up and crying on the floor, according to Esquire, which recounted the progression of her thoughts throughout the night.
They were serving, like, $12 pulled pork sandwiches [at the Javits Center]. It was nuts, people were bouncing off the walls. Everyone genuinely believed she was going to win. I don't know if it made me feel more confident or not.
I felt so alone, I knew it was done. I was by myself on the floor. I started to cry.
I was thinking everything from, "I'm gonna have to rewrite my piece" to, "Can we stay in the U.S.?" I texted my husband, "Tell Rosie to go to bed. I don't want her to watch."

The meltdown of government-test sucking corporate news reporters and talking heads was due to the realization that the government leach corporate candidate Hillary Clinton lost because they failed in their propoganda mission. Sucks to be them.
I grin every single time I see it, even when I post it. There is no level of contempt for many of these people that is not too low.
What would it have been like if Hillary had been elected? Well,I think the folks who didn’t want her elected(most of the country)would have taken it about the same as when that other mistake was elected. They would have been very upset,but wouldn’t go to the extremes these knuckleheads did.
Any single state gets a proportional vote based on population size regardless if a candidate gets 50.01% of the vote or 99.99% of the vote. Leftist Democrats are not America's brightest bulbs.

Obama’s ‘election’ was illegitimate. Hillary’s election would have launched the country into all out chaos and gun play.
I will never forgive all the NUTLESS so called conservative talking heads from not sounding the alarm with Obama. We had marxists, maoists and muslims running roughshod over America and the Constitution.
Obama voters and the fake media put one bullet in America’s brain pan with the his election. Hillary WOULD have been the certain death. The coup de grace.
I just remember it being the best night of sleep I had in a long, long time.
But people like her/him/it don't hate us. Oh no, not them. The contempt with which they view us pretty much saturates their entire being, and it is amusing (and unsettling) to see them wear their faults on their backs. The levels of delusion are stunning to me, but it isn't as if I haven't seen it before in them.
I must say, I cast my vote for Trump on election night, and that was pretty much it.
I didn't watch any returns. I didn't watch any news. (I don't watch television anyway)
I was pretty relieved to hear Trump had won, but until today, I have not actually gone on YouTube and looked at all the liberals...liberals from the very top of the leftist food chain, all the way down to the very bottom of the food chain...and I must say, I find it hilariously entertaining, although, a little frightening, too.
It is always disconcerting to find brainwashed people who really, REALLY believe their own BS. As if they live in a little echo chamber all of their own.
They have no shame, though. They will just pretend it didn't happen, and that they didn't just vomit all over themselves and wake up in the middle of the main street with no pants and their underwear turned backwards with LOSER written in permanent marker all over their faces. They assume they can flush it all down the memory hole.
