Journalists Retell Their Election Night Horror Stories
'People were throwing up. People were on the floor crying'

Reporters, editors, and other members of the media are reliving their election night horror stories in a new exclusive detailing what journalists and figures in the presidential campaigns themselves experienced on the night of Nov. 8, 2016.
Esquire interviewed 40 people who either covered or worked on one of the campaigns during the 2016 presidential election. The individuals gave their personal stories about the unexpected election of President Donald Trump and the defeat of Hillary Clinton. Most of the reporters and editors who were interviewed expressed shock and horror at Trump's upset victory.
Here are some of their stories.
Rebecca Traister, writer at large for New Yorker Magazine, shared her feelings on being confident about a Clinton victory and how she subsequently felt "so alone" when it was apparent that Clinton would lose. She also observed Clinton supporters throwing up and crying on the floor, according to Esquire, which recounted the progression of her thoughts throughout the night.
They were serving, like, $12 pulled pork sandwiches [at the Javits Center]. It was nuts, people were bouncing off the walls. Everyone genuinely believed she was going to win. I don't know if it made me feel more confident or not.
I felt so alone, I knew it was done. I was by myself on the floor. I started to cry.
I was thinking everything from, "I'm gonna have to rewrite my piece" to, "Can we stay in the U.S.?" I texted my husband, "Tell Rosie to go to bed. I don't want her to watch."
People were throwing up. People were on the floor crying.

On November 8th, I will be proudly flying the flag in honor of the First Anniversary of President Trumps victory. I’ll also be watching this over and over and over:

Not exactly the stiff upper lip, Right Stuff crowd, is it?
What a bunch of arrested development ninnies.
Maybe if Hillary had consoled them instead of sending Podesta out to tell them to go home things might have been different
She should have married an actual male. Someone who can comfort her when she's hysterical.
Trump destroyed the Bush and Clinton political dynasties in succession. Two magnificent achievements before he even got to the White House!
politics is religion for these people.
On election night 2016, MSM journalists were throwing up. Hopefully, on election night 2020, they’ll take it to the next level and choke on their own vomit.
That Young Jurks video never gets old!!!!!!
By 6:15 am, the first voter was in line. We had more than 60 in line by the time the polls opened at 7 am. We let the first voters in a few minutes early so we could sign them in before the machines struck 7 am. It was busy all day.
When we finally got the votes counted (more than a dozen write-in votes for Bernie, by the way), I turned to the other Democrat on our board and stated "Wow! This election is going to be a lot closer than anybody predicted." She just hung her head and said "Sorry, but I just couldn't bring myself to vote for HER!" It was all I could do to maintain a poker face.
By the time I drove the results over to the courthouse and got home, it was 11 pm and I was absolutely exhausted.
But after nearly an hour of flopping about, I couldn't sleep either so got up and watched returns. The weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth of the ruling class and their media puppets was MUSIC TO MY EARS.
How many stroked out?
They worship Hillary.
Their god didn’t win.
Don’t worry. I’m sure the taxpayer paid somehow.
Just for fun, enjoy these ABC election predictions. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1SbJhfxOXiw
I have been having so much fun watching election videos. I’ve watched nearly every one. It’s a cottage industry on youtube. There are tons of them, because except for Fox Business News, hardly any of them don’t hate Trump.
But just type in “Election Night 2016” on youtube and you are sure to be entertained and educated. At night I always have something to watch. And usually see a few female reporters cry. PBS, NBC, ABC and CBS all had crying women. You know, if women really want to be taken seriously, they need to stop crying when they lose.
I can’t stop laughing.
I was depressed for 4 years. Felt I was living in a country I couldn’t recognize. Started an email chain to get people informed. Upped my donation to FR. And mourned for my country as the hater in chief tried to weaken and damage her every way he could.
The weight that was lifted when Donald Trump was elected is indescribable. I laugh more, have hope for my Country that we may again be the home of Liberty & justice for all, that the American Dream becomes reality for all Americans.
Not only biased....they are all a bunch of filthy sodomites.
of those cited, 90% of them are queers of one stripe or another.
“People were throwing up. People were on the floor crying.”
Frankly, I find this rather arousing!
That was my thought exactly.
I hate Liberals for what they have done to America & my fellow Americans, especially the poor disadvantaged who they bloviate about substituting victim-hood for self determination.
I hate them, can’t be friends with a liberal, won’t spend my money in their enterprises unless forced by circumstance won’t watch them on TV or in movies, won’t even attend theatre. Starve the beast!
“I hope it was all mixed together there on the floor, the vomit and the weepers.”
How can we tell them apart?
