Journalists Retell Their Election Night Horror Stories
'People were throwing up. People were on the floor crying'

Reporters, editors, and other members of the media are reliving their election night horror stories in a new exclusive detailing what journalists and figures in the presidential campaigns themselves experienced on the night of Nov. 8, 2016.
Esquire interviewed 40 people who either covered or worked on one of the campaigns during the 2016 presidential election. The individuals gave their personal stories about the unexpected election of President Donald Trump and the defeat of Hillary Clinton. Most of the reporters and editors who were interviewed expressed shock and horror at Trump's upset victory.
Here are some of their stories.
Rebecca Traister, writer at large for New Yorker Magazine, shared her feelings on being confident about a Clinton victory and how she subsequently felt "so alone" when it was apparent that Clinton would lose. She also observed Clinton supporters throwing up and crying on the floor, according to Esquire, which recounted the progression of her thoughts throughout the night.
They were serving, like, $12 pulled pork sandwiches [at the Javits Center]. It was nuts, people were bouncing off the walls. Everyone genuinely believed she was going to win. I don't know if it made me feel more confident or not.
I felt so alone, I knew it was done. I was by myself on the floor. I started to cry.
I was thinking everything from, "I'm gonna have to rewrite my piece" to, "Can we stay in the U.S.?" I texted my husband, "Tell Rosie to go to bed. I don't want her to watch."
People were throwing up. People were on the floor crying.

LOL...The Pulled Pork Sandwich of Death!
I love seeing that picture of Hil ,in her royal purple pantsuit , knowing that she was in absolute agony.
Muslims are not allowed to eat swine, pulled, or otherwise.
Someone probably donated the pork sandwiches, then Hillary turned around and charged $12 apiece for them, from the campaign workers.
I didn’t cry or throw up when Hussein won in 2009 or 2012.
I quietly said a prayer for our Republic.
Trump has probably made more liberal Americans angry than any other political figure to come down the pike.
Good Lord. I don't even have the slightest idea what the hell this is supposed to mean. What idiots...
Interesting that all these interviewed LOSER drama queens left out an important fact about election night: that LOSER fat@ss Kankles was too enraged/drunk/cowardly/violent to publicly concede the election to DJT.
Obama called her TWICE, telling her she needed to appear before her supporters at the Javitz Center and concede with dignity. But no, Kankles hid from her supporters like the crybaby LOSER that she is.
I know that too. It was meant as humor. I would hate to think the democrats would offend anyone. That’s humor too...
And right there, you managed to capture the essence of the difference between deranged liberals and grounded conservatives.
Not to say we weren't angry. But we didn't regurgitate $12 pulled pork sandwiches and cry buckets of tears.
I don't think these lunatics have any idea how they come across to normal people.
Book mark
Bafflegab. Who knows what those losers were smoking that night?
These lefties have been reduced to pulling pork.
Best Election Evah’
Not that I’m a Trump fan, I’m not
But Hillary has been on my SH.t list for a long time.
go to the Esquire article and read it...its hysterical and revealing at the same time:
Nate Silver: I felt like if the roles had been reversed, and if Clinton had been winning all of these states, that they wouldnt have been so slow to call it. In some ways, the slowness to call it reflected the stubbornness the media had the whole time about realizing that, actually, it was a pretty competitive election.
Matt Paul, chief of staff to VP candidate Tim Kaine: Senator Kaine, when the news became very grim...the senator actually went to bed. Nothing was going to happen that night. He had to put together a different type of speech.
Jelani Cobb, The New Yorker: I saw the New York Times headline and I was very discomforted by it. For one, I knew that I had a child on the way.
Reza Aslan: My wife stayed up and I went to sleep, then she woke me up around 1 or 2 in the morning bawling and told me that it was over. My poor, sweet wife. She wanted to hug and kiss me but I went into a panic attack and couldn’t breathe.
David Remnick: We agreed that night, and we agree today, that the Trump presidency is an emergency. And in an emergency, you’ve got a purpose, a job to do, and ours is to put pressure on power. That’s always the highest calling of journalism, but never more so than when power is a constant threat to the country and in radical opposition to its values and its highest sense of itself.
Zara Rahim: There were die-hard Hillary supporters that were like, Were not going. Folks who were sobbing and literally couldnt move because they were so distraught. I remember pieces of memorabilia on the floor, little Hillary pins and I believe that she will win placards.
Rebecca Traister: People were throwing up. People were on the floor crying.
Jorge Ramos, Univision news anchor: When he won, I said it as if I was reporting a football score or a soccer match. Donald Trump is going to be the next president of the United States. No emotion. Just the facts. That’s what the audience demanded. That is a sign of respect. As a journalist you have to report reality as it is, not as you wish it would be. That’s exactly what I was doing.

The leftist propaganda media’s legacy is legitimizing and foisting Barack Hussein Osama on America. He’s their marxist muslim America-hating faggot illegal alien tar baby.
They knew all the damage Obama did would be exposed if anyone other than Hillary was elected.
These lowlife POS need to be brought to justice.
That, alone and by itself, is enough to make me nod my head in satisfaction when I recall pulling the lever for Trump!
All the other stuff, renouncing the Paris Accord, dropping a piano on the EPA, making the media absolutely unhinged and insane, is all just icing on the cake...:)
Can’t wait until Trump gets re-elected
