You know the “Blue Screen of Death”? The way your PC screen turns blue when the Windows operating system goes kaput? During the Clinton administration, the cause of a BSoD was liable to be hardware-related — owing, say, to a failed motherboard — so the bluetastrophe was lethal. Irreparable.
The disaster that befell the Democratic Party a year ago is exactly this kind of fatal blow, a political BSoD.
We Democrats believed that things were moving, slowly, in the right direction; that our Republican friends and relatives would see sense, somehow, eventually — no way were they really that racist, or that hypocritical. We believed our Democratic leaders would play fair, and prove worthy of our trust; that their loyalty to rich donors would diminish, that progressives would gain power within the party.
But we were blind to the truth, and blindsided by the catastrophic ineptitude of our leadership. Against all sense, at a time of dangerous polarization and unrest, Democrats were pressured to back a candidate of legendary unpopularity. The party’s chair was ousted at a crucial moment because she abused her power on behalf of that candidate.
The Democratic establishment caused the Blue Screen of Death. We need a new computer with a freshly installed operating system, and pronto. There is no reboot or Safe Mode available. The only option is to throw out the broken machine.

Maria, first you need to tell Democrats to stop killing people they disagree with. That would be a start.
Socialist speak for: get rid of/kill all of the party's elite leaders and their underlings who carried out their failed policies and "replace them" with our "new socialists" who will do it right, this time.
Reading between the lines of this evasive article, it's clear that this woman believes the new Democratic Party, once all the Clintonite holdovers are purged, should be an anti-white party.
I'll say this for them - they're predictable. The odds of "journalist and critic" from Los Angeles calling for a more moderate party platform are damned near zero.
Think about it this way... when was the last time that the CPUSA fielded its own presidential candidate? Late 1980s, I believe. I take that to mean that the Communist infiltration of the Democrat Party began in earnest shortly before Bush 41 uttered the words "New World Order". They've been steering the Democrats' bus ever since, biding their time while the old-school liberals die off.
The grand irony in all of this is that they were thwarted this time by a Dem whose power madness exceeded her interest in "the revolution". It was all about HER.
Go Left you morons, go more Left, make Karl Marx look like Andrew Carnegie. I look forward to the results.

Liberals destroyed our collective culture by bringing in identity politics, Marxism, etc. Unfortunately impressionable youth and sad sack cases swallowed all that hook, line, and sinker. They need to return to traditional American values.
Not just leadership. Membership, period.
In the last election my brother voted Libertarian (Gary Johnson). While he dislikes Trump, there is no way he will vote Democrat.
I predict many, if not most, white straight males will leave the Democratic party. Why stay there among such hostility? Instead, they'll either defect to the GOP or, if they actually want to remain liberal, hook up with the 3rd parties like Green or Libertarian.
Probably anyone with a modicum of mental health, white or otherwise, will leave. The only ones left in the Democratic party will be fringe -- feminists, gays, and underclass minorities.
Excellent point Mooch. Hopefully the defectors from the left’s evil grip will see the light and turn to full on conservatives.
They do not, nor will ever think their policies are wrong. Even when they share the thoughts of Stalin, Lenin and Mao, they think, "we can do it so much better than them".
But in the end it all ends in force, you can see it now, they are forcing their life style, non morals and global warming beliefs on the rest of us and now talking of violence and prosecution if you don't tow the line.
Force, eventually death to dissenters, it ALWAYS ends that way.
