Though he has stayed active in politics — and reappeared on the campaign trail in New Jersey and Virginia just two weeks ago — Obama said he believes he’s up to something bigger, and thereby more curative for what he believes has gone wrong in elections.
“The moment we’re in right now, politics is the tail and not the dog,” he said. “What we need to do is think about our civic culture, because what’s wrong with our politics is a reflection of something that’s wrong with the civic culture, not just in the United States but around the world.”
That thought echoed one he made in more forceful, partisan terms at his event in Virginia for Ralph Northam, the Democratic candidate for governor, but it was as close as Obama came to talking politics at the summit, which is expected to be an annual event.

Earlier this morning some are wondering about the bravery of Donna Braizelle, well there's been a quiet call in the Democrat party to move away from the old guard. Obama may be it, is likely it and is setting his stage.
In many ways his comments here actually scare me. It sounds like a clarion call. They are getting ready to double down on 'fixing/destroying the civic culture.' He claims it is not a political movement, but then goes on to describe a very political movement. This seems very Naziesque, very brownshirt, very fascist.
We've seen what fixing the culture means already from 0bama. He clearly states he is looking to do something bigger than the Presidency...we need to be watching and planning how to stop this nonsense. It is treason, changing the civic culture...he is talking about exactly what?
How can somebody like Obama, an acolyte of Saul Alinsky, “fix” anything? People such as him are committed to the destruction of the status quo, fundamental change in our system and that status quo. People such as him seek to destroy, not to “fix”.
And even if for sake of argument, we say he wants to “fix” something, he would “fix” it in a manner which suits liberals and liberalism, not in a manner which the majority of us would find acceptable.

Look, we’re watching the DNC implode. There’s going to be a vacuum of power there, we already know the progressive left is still on the march. Obama is ramping up to do something bigger that the Presidency. We discounted him as an idiot, but darn he got a lot of that hidden agenda started and in place. I am not will to just glance over his current endeavors with a blind eye.

Milo says that “politics is downstream from culture!” Obama’s statement is a sign that we are making inroads in the battle for American culture!
I guess, in a way, he is correct. When it comes to fixing a thing probably no one knows more about it than the guy who broke it on purpose.
Why we should trust him is beyond me. Personally, I think he should be prosecuted for breaking it in the first place.
It sounds like the choom talking. Very grandiose words with few if any specifics. Obama vacationed, golfed and ESPNed his way through the presidency, and now he wants to change the world. It’s a pothead mentality.
