WASHINGTON — President Trump is not a favorite in the extended Bush household. Former President George Bush considers him a “blowhard,” only interested in feeding his own ego. Former President George W. Bush, his son, thinks Mr. Trump fans public anger and came to office without any understanding of the job.
And both worry that Mr. Trump has blown up a Republican Party that they spent two lifetimes building, a party that was once committed to removing boundaries to trade and immigration, promoting democracy and civil society and asserting a robust American leadership role in the world, according to an author who has interviewed them.

Bush Senior blew up the Reagan coalition and deliberately handed the White House to his son Bill. Bush the second betrayed us for eight years and handed stiff Democrat majorities to a political crime syndicate. Jebbito never gained traction.

Bushes 41 and 43 OUGHT to be worried that Trump is “blowing up” the Republican party.
Think of it as demolition work to be done before reconstructing the whole organization to properly reflect the realities of the 21st Century.
In the process, a canal is opened to drain the swamp, and with the swamp being drained, a whole lot of new vegetation may then take root and flourish.
I remember specifically “W” saying
