Gregg Jarrett: Hillary Clinton's scheme in 'rigging' the nomination may have been criminal
Fox News ^ | November 3, 2017 | Gregg Jarrett

Hillary Clinton has spent a year crying about how the presidency was stolen from her. Turns out, she stole the Democratic nomination from Bernie Sanders.

The stunning revelation from former Democratic National Committee interim chairperson Donna Brazile that Clinton secretly rigged the primary process by commandeering the DNC should come as no surprise to anyone. Clinton is nothing, if not unethical and corrupt. She always has been. This is precisely why pre-election polls consistently showed that a majority of Americans found her dishonest and untrustworthy.

The critical question now is whether she committed crimes in her theft of the nomination.

The Scheme

According to Brazile, the DNC went broke under the leadership of Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. This dire circumstance presented a perfect scenario for Clinton to seize command of the party apparatus by paying off its debt of roughly $20 million dollars. But in exchange, the DNC executed a written, albeit hidden, agreement transferring to Clinton the committee’s finances, strategy, and money raised -- all to the benefit of Clinton and to the detriment of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, her primary opponent.

Even more deceptions and money shuffling ensued. It was a clever and complicated stratagem, but here is the simple version. During Clinton’s joint fundraising events with the DNC and state parties held across the nation, more than $82 million was raised. The states immediately kicked back nearly all of their share to the DNC which, in turn, kicked back their share and the states’ share to Clinton’s campaign.

Just goes to show how weak a candidate Hillary was..
the only way she could get the nomination was to steal it from a doddering old socialist who was beati g her in tbe primaries

It may be worse than that.

It's been my suspicion that Bernie Sanders started out as a Hillary Clinton triangulation stalking horse whose job it was to propose the most clownish ultra left wing positions that they would make Hillary look like the moderate centrist

Hillary Clinton is an incompetent intriguer and her scheme backfired when her ringer caught the imagination of the Democrat Left and almost stole the nomination from her

It seems odd to have the Attorney General recused from every one of the most monumental cases our country has encountered since the trial of the Rosenbergs.

I have to laugh when fake News CNN accuses the President of wanting to get the Justice Department to go after his political enemies.

As if they would be prosecuted for their political views. Another lie.

They can’t stop lying even if it would help their credibility.

What short memories many of us have :)

IMO, the republicans have been doing the exact same thing with our primaries. That is, until DJT out smarted them. Have we all forgotten all the tricks and crap they tried to pull on Trump?

I doubt we’ll see any one like Rove say a single word... because they know they have been pulling the wool over our eyes too.

I can’t help but laugh at the phony outrage from Fauxahontas and Donna B.. Both of them as well as the entire democrat and republican parties knew what was playing out during the campaigns.

This is another reason Hillary and the NeverTrumpers just can’t Accept Trump’s win. Because he broke “their protocol” and WON. HA!

Everyone here is gleeful that the truth is exposed that Clinton rigged the nomination. Also, they poo poo the fact that Sanders supporters are upset. However, the real truth is that the Republicans tried to rig their nomination as well with Bush, and failed. How loud would the screams have been on this forum if they had succeeded and placed Bush on the ticket? In fact, the two candidates that they tried to destroy were Trump and Cruz. They succeeded with the destruction of Cruz, but Trump prevailed. To me, the Brazile revelation is a condemnation of the entire establishment cabal of Democrat/Republican and Lobbyists and the leaches of Congress. Time to sweep them out. I hope Trump is successful in doing so.

She is protected by Satan.

I don't think even Satan wants to have anything to do with her. She's bad for his reputation.

The only way for the democrats to pry the party organization away from Hillary is to put her in jail. That is exactly what the democrats are going to do.

Big brain Dana Perino said she just doesn’t see anything criminal with this .

You know she is attractive and all, but I am beginning to think there is something seriously wrong with that woman.

She made a big deal in an interview how a few years back Trump called her, and she was writing a book. So they spoke, and Trump said maybe I can help you out. Trump tweeted about the book, basically promoting it.

A couple of years later, when Trump was thinking of running, he asked her advice about his upcoming campaign, and she completely shut him down and would not even give her opinion to help him. He said to someone else that she really betrayed him in a way, and she was shocked. Shocked! Like she could not even a return a favor with some lousy advice! And then she had to make a big deal about how she had been wronged.

Sheesh. Women like this are to be avoided.

Yep! You nailed it. And the Bern walked away with major cash and a bunch of property.

Bernie "ho" Sanders buys 3rd home.

Wasn't he once a welfare recipient?

Sessions is basically saying he will refuse to investigate certain individuals or organizations. Can you imagine an Attorney General telling the President, Congress, and the American people, “If XYZ Corporation is suspected of corruption, I will refuse to investigate.” Who does he think he is?

may have been criminal

No, it was criminal and it wasn't no small town mayoral race either, it was for the Presidency of the United States.

Money Laundering, bribing, kickbacks....conspiracy to overthrow an election...

It sounds more like treason every day.
