What does the Uranium One investigation have to do with the 2016 Election?

So you think Sessions should stay put and do nothing?

I think he should stay put as long as President Trump wants him there. He's hardly "doing nothing" while he's there.

By the way, Jeannine may be a “tv lawyer” but she is a former judge. I would rather have Judge Judy than useless Jeff.

She was a county judge and then a state district attorney in New York. She's less qualified for the top Federal law enforcement post than a U.S. Capitol police officer.

I don’t know where you get your information from, but there’s nothing “conflicted” about Jay Sekulow, who would in fact, make an excellent AG. You need to go research his impressive resume and how many cases he has won before the Supreme Court.

I love Jay Sekulow. He's a smart guy with an impressive resume. The problem with him -- as I thought I said clearly -- is that he is Donald Trump's personal attorney right now. You won't find a more outrageous conflict of interest in the U.S. Department of Justice than having the president's personal attorney serving as the U.S. Attorney General.

“Rosenstein would need to recuse himself as well”

Rosenstein is not about to recuse himself. We would probably be stuck with him for quite a while.

He’s got to resign. People thought he was General Lee but he turned out to be George McClellan.

Correct. I’ve been reading that as Trump has struck out with Repeal/Replace. And as he is predicted to strike out with a new tax overhaul plan, the Senate would also screw him over on a new A/G pick.

If that's true then it's not Jeff Sessions who should be resigning right now -- it's President Trump.

Is that confirmed? Did shithead Sessions really refuse to setup a special counsel for Hillary because he doesn’t want the DOJ to “be political”?
