Poll: Ed Gillespie Favored by Two Points Over Ralph Northam for Virginia Governor
Breitbart News ^ | November 3, 2017 | Sean Moran

A new poll from Virginia Quantitative Research reveals that Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie leads over Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ralph Northam by two points.

The poll shows that 45 percent of Virginians favor Ed Gillespie over 43 percent of Virginia residents who support Ralph Northam, while two percent prefer libertarian candidate Cliff Hydra.

Virginia Quantitative Research also found that 43 percent of Virginians also prefer Republican lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Jill Vogel against 40 percent of citizens who favor Democrat candidate Justin Fairfax.

For the Virginia Attorney General race, 43 percent prefer Republican John Adams compared to 42 percent who favor Democrat Mark Herring.

Breitbart News reported that previous polls had Ed Gillespie and Ralph Northam deadlocked in the race for Virginia governor.

Ralph Northam’s campaign continues to drown in controversy as Virginia campaign finance reports revealed that the Northam campaign coordinated with the Latino Victory Fund to push a “sickening” that featured an Ed Gillespie supporter attempting to run down minority children. Northam also recently flip-flopped in favor of banning sanctuary cities; the progressive Democracy for America denounced the Ralph Northam campaign for Northam’s about-face in favor of banning sanctuary cities.

Democrats across the nation and in the state of Virginia remain increasingly worried about Northam’s chances of winning the gubernatorial election.

....President Donald Trump tweeted that he believes that Ed Gillespie “will be a great governor of Virginia.”

Trump said, “Ed Gillespie will turn the really bad Virginia economy #’s around, and fast. Strong on crime, he might even save our great statues/heritage!”

A survey estimated that 62 percent of Americans believe that Confederate statues honoring leaders should remain intact.

...The Virginia gubernatorial election is on Tuesday, November 7.

2 points is well within the Democrat margin of fraud. Expect N. Virginia results to be held back until the Dems see how many votes they need.

"...margin of fraud..."

Plus that gives extra time for any colluding, RINO, uniparty frauds to get their ducks in a row to throw the election.

Northam denies having anything to do with that racist ad put out by the latino group, but there are reports that he actually coordinated with them for the ad.

The RINO Uniparty fraud is the Republican nominee for Gov.

” Expect N. Virginia results to be held back until the Dems see how many votes they need.”

Duh!

They are trying to rally the masses. “We could LOOOOOSE.”
Good news is that it won’t be a turnover if the Dem wins so they can’t claim Trump backlash. If Gillespie wins, it will show the Democratic Party is truly in turmoil.

2 points is well within the Democrat margin of fraud.

It would be true if it was a 2 point margin. The polls are almost always skewed at least 5% in favor of the Democrats. The 2 point margin means that Gillespie at least 7 points ahead.

That ad just handed the race to Gillespie... odd were Northam would have won by a small margin most likely, because Gillespie would not get those new MAGA voters motivated. The racist ad just got them to engage, now they are going to show up just to give a big EFF You to the Dems etc for calling them racist rednecks... not because they particularly care for Gillespie.

Up until this ad, my prediction was D by 1-3. This ad just changed the entire dynamic and I expect Gillespie to win by 2-4.

I didn’t realize he’d gotten that many signed in time. He was being forced to have each paper signed separately, though he was using an autopen, as I remember.

Nope was about 46,000. And no guarantee they will show up.

I don’t think that is going to have much impact....

This boils down to will the new MAGA voters shownup for Gillespie, up until the racist ad, my analysis was no way... since it I think they will crawl over glass to give Northam the finger.

It the new MAGA vote shows up Gillespie wins. If they don’t he most likely loses by a small margin.

A new poll from Virginia Quantitative Research reveals that Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie leads over Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ralph Northam by two points.

Since this is VA, and GOP candidates polls are notoriously bad election after election, I expect all three candidates are actually up 8-10 points.
