With allegations of sexual harassment, assault, and other forms of misconduct sweeping through Hollywood in recent weeks, at least one Republican congressman is calling for Congress to hold hearings on entertainment industry practices.
Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview Thursday that Congress should help expose the widespread “criminal conduct” that has taken place in Hollywood and across the entertainment industry over decades.
“I think Congress — both the House and Senate — should hold hearings and expose what’s going on, and make sure people understand that Hollywood and the entertainment industry have a serious problem with sexual predators, and not trying to address the culture that’s been created,” Rep. Buck said.

If the issue is “sex conduct”, it seems that Congress has bigger fish to fry. If it was so bad, why didn’t any of these “victims” come forward over the past 20+ years? Because they were OK with it if/when it resulted in their names in lights on marquees. It’s called, “prostitution”. Don’t libs refer to prostitution as a victim-less crime?
Still, if hearings resulted in shredding the fabric of the Hollywood elite culture, and impacting their incomes which gets passed on to liberal politicians, it would be a good thing. Removing their credibility — I’d love to see that.
Careful what you wish for.
Congressional investigations have become a replacement for prosecution of criminal wrongdoing.
If you want no one in Hollywood punished beyond civil lawsuits, you should support this ‘investigation’.
This is not the business of the government.
This is the business of lawyers and police.

If they became involved in the sex-in-Hollywood issue, it would be a razzle-dazzle to deflect from real Federal crimes. Still, if Congress did (wrongly) hold hearings — and I’m sure they will — one unintended consequence would be the possible harm of Hollywood.
We can’t have this. The homos and the pedos would be kicked back into the closet.
The negative impact Hollywood has had on America far surpasses the Clinton crime family, although I have no problem with execution of the entire lot of them.
I see this entire pervert thing as a diversion from the Clinton stories. This entire Hollywood sex scandal should be fixed locally, with the LA FBI office running the investigation. Leave Washington out of it for now.

So if our founder, Andrew Breitbart would have seen a chance to change culture, he would have taken it.
Any Police or LE investigation is (by law) required to be in closed sessions.
Any Congressional Hearings are on the public record (unless in classified session), which these won’t be.
Think Long-Term success! If Congress forces many Hollywoodies to come to the Capital and testify under oath, we may get a few on purgery.
If nothing else, it will give “bread and cirsuses” to the masses, instead of them focusing on the usual “hate Trump” messages.
But as a grand prize, we could drag Hollywoodies through their own sewage, driving a deeper wedge between the Hollywoodies and regular working Americans who will be disgusted by the boorish behavior of Heavy WineStain and the rest of the people that have been making the recent Sexual Predator headlines.
This could be a wedge that moves America toward severing their connection to Hollywood, that drives the wheel of culture.

“Other names of people Bryan uses to scout, round up boys for him and the many pedo sex parties are Wayne Castro and Tommy Johnson. Congress can do whatever it wants for whatever contrived reason. NFL, Hollywood, you name it. They get tax breaks, interstate commerce, illegal human trafficking.
Bring them in. Swear them in. Let them name names of the rapists and sexual harassers.
This will neutralize Hollywood. The late night jokes will stop. The money flow to Democrats will stop.

Then, have the FBI go arrest the folks mentioned a few posts above if those allegations are true.
Trump is fighting for his life and the life of his family. Democrats aren’t out to win an election; they’re out to put him and his kids in jail.
He has to fight back and the sooner Republicans realize this is a life or death of the Republic (not ‘Republican’ - the Republic itself) the more earnest they will fight.

I live here and the town is a complete mess. Know the right people and criminal charges disappear. No way a big fish (major director or producer) would be charged with anything here. It’s a company town. Always has been; always will be.
